You and me both. I wasn't that amped as I turned on the TV but the chief support fight between Ogawa and Fuzile was pretty entertaining and Diamante made it feel like a PPV. I really think Diamante has established himself as the best ring announcer in the business.
Are you American? I’m only asking as over here when I’ve been at shows in the U.K., one major Gripe I hear people say about David diamante is his weird tendency to repeat every fighters surname a second time. Maybe silly but I can totally relate to what people mean when complain about this.
so was wondering the American viewers take on this.

Diamante is a creep. He looks creepy, he acts creepy, and his announcing skills suck, suck.

I am American. Diamante stated in an interview that he repeats the last names in homage to some of the great but lesser known ring announcers from the past (guys like Marc Bureau). They originally did it because audio speaker systems in some of the smaller venues weren't the best and the crowd noise could drown out the what the ring announcer was saying. I thought it was annoying at first but it grew on me and I liked the story behind it.

Back in the old days, Jimmy Lennon Sr for instance that was the norm with announcers to repeat the surname. Sort of a tradition
It seems booing is the new way to appreciate a true winner in his Teo's eyes lol. Snr has been saying all year " nobody ain't never gonna beat my son ". Well guess what .......
I'm very disappointed in the way Teo handled his loss, but not surprised! Was very surprised at Brandon Figueroa! If you thought you won, why not run it back? Don't say you want the rematch, and say you're moving to 126 in the very next sentence!
