I think Teo's dad was on drugs tonight. He wasn't making any sense. Waiving to the crowd before each round. He was just in a different place, he couldn't give any boxing instructions. The assistant trainers looked embarrassed by what Sr was doing. I don't know who the cutman was, but he wasn't doing the best job with the cuts.

There is a time when you need to motivate the fighter and there is a time when you need to be a coach. Teos dad wanted to be the star and was too caught up in the fight to realize his ONLY job that night was to instruct his fighter wtf to do.... and he failed.

not at all, they may sound similar, but Angel's corner advice was always on point. he knew his sons limitations and strengths. Furthermore, he actually gave a crap about his son's health and never told him to get wreckless.

They shoulda told Teo to dip down low and jab to the body, at least nullify Kambos right hand. Kamboso kept barreling with sweeping shots like Maidana, an offensive machine tonight

I just so happen to agree. That has to have been some of the worst corner instructions and advice I've heard from a trainer in a prizefight in my entire life. He should told his son to settle the fuck down and allow the knockout to come to you. Not go out there and try to knock hm out every round with no specifics.

You're right,Angel does give Danny better technical advise/adjustments in the corner but Angel smacking Danny looked like it was desperation more than anything else.

look at what he said though, 'wake the eff up', his frustration was that his son wasnt focused. btw kambosos was doing the exact thing danny garcia did/does, tucked his chin in, looked down and just threw looping shots (in the first round when lopez went all out).

I think Teo will stick with his dad for better or worse. Teo's too close with his dad and he already kinda burned bridges with his mom, he probably doesn't want to burn bridges with his dad
