Barring an in fight injury, AJ loses to Usyk and should retire before CTE gets the better of him. It's already been exposed that he's not the great boxer all the Sweet Caroline singers want him to be, and he's taken some damage in recent fights that he's not running for his life.

Fury, as much as I don't like him, is dead right on this.

AJ vs Wilder would be a good match for him, two damaged fighters needing to salvage their careers, and an AJ vs Whyte rematch is something I'd steer clear of cause at this point I think the bodysnatcher sparks him.

A fighter talking about retirement is half beaten already. As good as Fury is, that's not the frame of mind you wan't to be in when facing a guy like Usyk.

You got it! Fury fights usyk for undisputed, if he wins, immediately retires. Absolutely.

Maybe just juggle the fights a little? Fury-Joyce and Usyk-Joshua, winners fight each other. Fury can make that happen easily enough. He won't risk Joyce.

But that’s also what you (not specifically) when they fought the first time, no!

There are definitely legitimate questions about AJ’s mentality, I also dislike all the propaganda hype around him and his personality comes across phoney at times but all in all, I still think he’s a good HW, and I still think he’s a live dog in the Usyk rematch. Even with another loss to Usyk he’d still be a top 5 HW in the division regardless.

It makes even less sense if he’s coming off two losses though.

You’d just give AJ a tune up against a easier touch like Whyte. Have AJ go and knock Whyte out again in a fight that would sell well over here. Let Fury and Usyk unify and then hopefully all roads lead to Fury vs Joshua which I assume is the fight we all want.

As things stand this gives fury 3 fights, whyte, usyk and joshua. After whyte loses to Fury as expected, and Joshua is not really expected to beat usyk by the sports masses, at that point Joshua vs Whyte would be the only way back into contention, that fight is still a good fight and whyte stands a half chance of winning. Id say Wilder, should he continue boxing sparks them out, Joshua, whyte, ruiz, ortiz, joyce, dubois.. everyone bar usyk. Joshuas chin is awfull, he got rocked by a cruiserweight.. he will always remain gun shy due to that fact. I think Usyk will be more aggressive in the rematch, smart aggression more so then he was in 1st fight.

So, a guy like Usyk has a shot at beating Fury is your message?

Nobody is going to beat Usyk. He'll retire undefeated.
