So why was he asking Clifton for advice when he was literally walking to the ring?

Why did he reply "You'd have to ask my team" to Kugan when he was asked about said game plan?

Joshua doesn't know what he's doing, zero boxing IQ.

Paralysis by analysis has truly set in for AJ.

Just punch him in head AJ. Ffs.
I agree with the bolded. But the problem with the solution is that Usyk's head never stops moving.

The problem with Wilder and Scott's game plan was that they had refused to acknowledge how good Fury is and came up with real basic stuff that would work against a novice.

They worked under the impression Wilder is technically a better Boxer than Fury. Also there is no point benching Fury's weight when in the fight Fury's weight will be on Wilder's legs

That's true. But that fight was so frustrating. AJ was almost pulling punches in there for fear of getting countered. He barely stepped in with anything all night.

I think AJ is so aware of himself and feeling his tank empty he's not really doing himself justice.

Is AJ gonna put Usyk out in the late rounds after taking a fair amount of stick himself. I doubt it.

So there has to be an element of f.uck it about any game plan now.

I think AJ and his team did have a plan - to move with Uysk and use his height and reach to win the fight at long range. But I don't think AJ was ever truly confident in his ability to pull it off.

Do you know Chris Andre's YT channel? In his analysis of the fight he mentioned something that I didn't pick up on when I watched it. On his way to the ring, AJ spotted an older, grey haired woman in the crowd cheering for him and went over to give her a hug. Andre said that, as an AJ fan, it dismayed him when he saw that, as it looked like AJ was uncertain of himself and looking for comfort.

I don't think AJ has gotten over what happened to him vs Andy Ruiz. I agree, he's got to commit himself to rolling the dice and going for it in the rematch. I don't like his chances though, tbh.

Joshua himself doesn't know what he is, is he a puncher? Is he a boxer?

I watched AJ-Whyte the other day and I'm astonished at how much AJ has changed over the years, when he was lighting Whyte up, he was openly laughing in his face & mocking him.

Now compare that to the wide-eyed scared look that he's had ever since Ruiz knocked him out.

Sometimes game plans go out the window 'And you have to just fight off instinct'.

But where game plans must always been implemented are in training camp, and on fight night? Tactics and moves should really be automatic. Once tactics and moves are automatic you can adapt at a quicker speed during a fight, Joshua did not adapt against Uysk in the fight. Compared to some other fighters it takes Joshua months to adapt, once a opponent has his game plan A figured out on fight night 'Joshua if he cannot knock-out his opponent, he will be solved for that night'.

I see that Joshua is still thinking he is all technical. Wilder in my opinion, put in a better effort vs Fury than Joshua did against Usyk.

Wilder truly left in all in the ring, and pushed Fury extremely hard.

Joshua left the ring vs Uysk knowing, he did not really leave it all in the ring 'He has even admitted all of this of late'.

Hahahaha, game over. Joshua obviously doesn't have much "up there" either . . . .
