Canelo fought Fielding and signed to fight Jacobs when GGG was still in hiding recovering from the damage. He finally reemerged just to announce he was fighting a scrub and Banks already turned down the trilogy ironically saying they wanted more time (to keep fighting scrubs). Moral of the story, GGG really loves fighting scrubs.
A 3rd fight would have been great but who can blame Saul for wanting to avoid GGG and fight Fielding instead?
Saul's health had to come first.
Did Triple G say " Imagine if I jumped to 175lbs there's going to be alot more people wanting to fight me". That doesn't sound like a true champion, sounds more like someone who isn't looking for challenges but rather dodging. Sounds really bad. Trilogy definitely is NEVER going to happen, he can't accept another loss unless he needs money to retire.

No... It sounds to me like a fighter who has had 350 amateur fights, 43 professional fights, is going to be 40 in five months and has already unofficially beaten Canelo! Would you accuse a 39 year old Canelo of dodging (he's already dodging now to be fair)? Sounds like double standards to me...
October 2014 Ring TV.com: If you could, for a moment, could you specifically address the notion of fighting Andre Ward and/or Miguel Cotto or Canelo Alvarez?
Gennady Golovkin: I have big respect for Andre Ward. He has accomplished many things in the ring. My focus is to fight at middleweight unless there is a big fight at 154 or 168 that would be on pay-per-view. I think both Canelo and Cotto are warriors in the ring. They both have big hearts and both would be a big event and pay-per-view fights. https://www.ring tv.com/362749-gennady-golovkin-puts-miguel-cotto-atop-his-wish-list/
AFTER shlt got real:
October 2015
"Cotto-Canelo takes place at a catch-weight of 155-pounds. Canelo has never fought above 155. Cotto has never fought at the full middleweight limit. He fought Daniel Geale at 157 and Sergio Martinez at 159. Cotto stated in past interviews that all of his future opponents would be subject to a catch-weight.....
"I'm champion of 160, middleweight is my comfortable weight. For what [reason would I do a catch-weight]? For business or for what?I'm a boxer. I'm the champion of the middleweight division," Golovkin said." http://www.boxingscene.com/golovkin-...-canelo--97113

Be fair. The Ring TV quote in 2014 DOES NOT SAY "anyone". He was talking about cash out fights. The 2015 quote was G pulling an A-Side strategy - Cotto doesn't call the shots when he isn't champion of the division.
Neither quote says anyone. He was always in cash out mode bro. That's why when Canelo was working 168, at one point he even said come on up and we'll see about making it happen, and G ducked it because he knows, years after the fact, his power would be way diminished against a 168 Canelo.
I'm not defending Golovkin, I heard I believe it was Abel say "anyone from 154-168" - all I'm saying is, we knew what they really meant. They meant that G would pull an A-Side and drain whoever he could. If it was someone higher on the business scale, he would consider it, but that was half a decade ago and before the loss to Canelo.
Once he lost to Canelo he was begging for the third fight at 160, but Canelo had already moved up. When Golovkin damn near lost to Derevyanchenko, it humbled him, to where he no longer believes in himself unless he's fighting at his own weight, especially now that the threats are largely gone.
clowns talk nonsense, then other clowns repeat that nonsense... hoping that one day it will come true
FACT: in 5 rounds of that fight, ALL THREE JUDGES scored those 5 rounds for Canelo...
... and the reason why ALL THREE JUDGES scored those 5 rounds for Canelo... it because they were CLEAN rounds
Canelo CLEARLY won those 5 rounds, no question whatsoever
talking 8-4 is a fanboy " tell "... the clowns give themselves away
...
Round 5 was clear in fight 2 for GGG. He landed more shots, and the best shots of the round. Canelo gets extra credit from judges when he needs it. Basically, if he does anything at all decent in the round, the judges will give it to him. They know the deal.
In that round, Canelo actually had GGG fighting off the back foot. That was the only round in that fight where that happened. Unfortunately for Canelo, GGG can fight off the back foot well enough and won that round clean. When you land 5 or so more punches, and land the best punches of the round, that's a clear round for ya.
It's called - 'we're in Vegas, fighting Canelo, and we know they gave Canelo a draw the first time when he absolutely didn't deserve it - we can't complain when he fought better at times tonight (relative to fight 1) and didn't run around the ring. We know the judges are going to score it as favorably as possible for him'
Just common sense man. No use in crying over something you can't change. I know what I saw. So did you. Deep down you know Canelo lost twice but you have to try and use some weird scoring criteria to justify the robberies lol.
'His trainer said something'
'Mexican style man'
'I don't score the jab'
Lol
It's amusing when GGG fans complain about the judging when team GGG signed off on the judges selected and Abel praised them for the good job they did. Matter of fact, Canelo even gave team GGG the green light on having their preferred judge Moretti return after scoring the first in GGG's favor. Team GGG wanted to paint Canelo in a corner and create a scenario that favored the aggressor because they thought it would play to their advantage, but Canelo reverse UNO'd him and beat him at his own game, according to his own standards of victory, in the eyes of his handpicked judge, and with his own trainer signing off.

they pulled that... "anyone from 154-168 "... for YEARS, you dumb cvnt
that link proves he was willing to fight at 154, and 168... disproving your " at 160 " garbage... that really was a dumb excuse
