Honestly I'd critique him a lot more if the discussion around him was reasonable. For example it's very fair to critique him for his performances in his 4 biggest fights to date. He got no KOs and under performed relative to expectations in all 4. However, the only one close on the cards was vs Sergei. He won the other 3 clean.

So yeah, keep the criticism reasonable and you will find me joining in on it.

I think that's a bit overboard but it's a fair complaint. If you said it more matter of factly and less emotionally, it would hold more sway I think.

I think part of the underperforming from GGG was less about him and more about his opponent - Jacobs' chin is much better than we all thought, and he also fought to survive, not really win. Canelo did the same in fight 1, and I didn't know he could move laterally with his feet like he did in fight 1. Fight 2, and since fight 2, Canelo looked like a different man, and is now the number 1 pfp fighter in the world. Beating a guy like that, but not KOing him, is still really good.

Derevy was a poor showing vs a tough opponent. Probably took him lightly but it happens. Definitely fair to critique GGG in those 4 fights though. But saying he didn't win them, nah the only close one was vs Dervy.

G needs the Canelo fight more than Alvarez does.
Fans missed out when Canelo chose not to do a replay of their FOTY match up in 2017 and chose to fight Fielding a relatively unknown UK fighter. But that's boxing, where risk-reward trumps everything.

              Nah, Daniel Jacobs beat Golovkin.

According to Brit and Mex tv.

Right. Just like it comes down to how much stock we place in your opinion when it comes to Golovkin.

All I can say is I have no bias on any one fight or for any one fighter. Let the best man win.

GGG has been great because his workrate is so high, with his jab often times (great punch), and he almost always outworks his opponents, often times leading to KOs.

When I see a guy landing hard with every shot he throws, and landing more than his opponent virtually every round, what can I do but think the guy is a great fighter, and score a lot of rounds for the guy. What do you want me to fu.cking do man lol

Professional Brit and Mexican commentators have no bias either. If they thought Jacobs beat Canelo what do you want them to do? Not say it?
