Check my post history you will see i criticise and praise several fighters i'm not on an "anti-makabu campaign" just stating a fact that nobody cares about the guy and not many have even heard of him before Canelo announced that's his fight now people are dissapointed in him fighting a sub par cruiserweight for a belt when he has better competition in lower divisions. I even stated Canelo is p4p 1 and i give him some credit for going to cruiser but if there's a rehydration clause then that's wrong no matter what you say. Beating a mediocre cruiserweight who is drained for a belt is weak sauce. You are delusional just any excuse to dismiss any opinion other than your own.

Makes me laugh how you bring up GGG everytime like i'm a fan boy of him he has fought nobody of note either but that's due to the reasons above if i loved GGG so much why would i rank Canelo p4p #1 i just don't like the shadey tactics from Canelo. You say what you are "helping me understand" i see more people criticise this fight then with it that's how i see you in all them threads defending him all day. How come every time somebody says anything remotely critical of Canelo about 10 people jump in with the same "hater" ish it's played out. We are saying he's too good for this guy even though he's a cruiser. I just think he had unfinished business in the division he was in tbh that's my only gripe with it, not a bad fight for first cruiserweight fight but he has better fighters at lower classes he should of dealt with first but it's whatever. The catch weight will make makabu not the same fighter so his achievement diminished somewhat so i hope he doesn't do that he wants the cruiserweight belt he should fight at cruiserweight.

Canelo fans hate this fight. I have been to Mexico. The Mexican fans are the best boxing fans in the world. I can tell you that they are sick and tired of Canelo Alvarez constantly fighting weak competition despite having the power to make any fight he wants. They were very offended when Canelo said he wouldn't fight Mexicans and it's pretty clear he will not fight black American fighters either. Being the champion of Europe does not make you a p4p king.

However, I think the agenda he is pushing is one of TMT and Canelo Alvarez trying to use the LDBC and Canelo as a front for their Tank Davis support.
