Because he is skipping the best in the divisions and jumping between them picking the easiest belt holders. Although still impressive taking out a cruiser considering how small Canelo is i've said many times if Usyk was still champ he wouldn't dare. If the catchweight is true too that's just extra bs on top.

How come every time somebody says anything remotely critical of Canelo about 10 people jump in with the same "hater" ish it's played out. We are saying he's too good for this guy even though he's a cruiser. I just think he had unfinished business in the division he was in tbh that's my only gripe with it, not a bad fight for first cruiserweight fight but he has better fighters at lower classes he should of dealt with first but it's whatever. The catch weight will make makabu not the same fighter so his achievement diminished somewhat so i hope he doesn't do that he wants the cruiserweight belt he should fight at cruiserweight.
