Hatton was never an elite class fighter, more like a class C fighter but he made it work for him by selecting old has-beens from the lower weight classes who was in their late 30s.. he made a ton of money from boxing but at some stage of his career he had no option but to take that huge risk and he chose Pacquiao the former light-fly champ.. the rest is history

point is he may not be an elite fighter, but he is not as crappy as what people make him out to be. he was expected to lose against floyd and manny anyways.
