Not sure about total control but Bud knew he wasn't in any real danger even in the early rounds. He was working Porters body and waiting for him to start making the bigger mistakes as the rounds went on for him to be able to capitalize and land that big punch which he did. I was actually surprised that Porter fought as clean as he could in the early rounds, he was able to evade a lot of Buds counters and that got Bud a bit frustrated. It was actually Bud who had to make it sort of a dirty and rough fight by holding him to stop his momentum. Either way it was a good fight and hats off to both fighters

I’m getting a bit of Wilder vibes from him. His power has really bailed him out in his last two fights. A lot of people had Brook up in their scorecards before the stoppage, same can be said for Porter before the 10th round.Combat Talk Radio likes this.

That statement is only part true. It's a fact that Shawn Porter was dominating the first half of their fight. He was winning the earlier rounds. Then Bud made the proper adjustments and started to dominate the second half of the fight while subsequently scoring a TKO victory.

I like TC tho he acted right after the win I respect his demeanour. He’s supposed to feel like he’s the best. Extremely talented and he might be the best I just don’t think beating Shawn Porter proves it

but Spence arguably lost to Porter, was hit clean plenty of times
how do you reconcile those two things? Genuine questiongreeneye99 likes this.

Nobody has ever looked good against Porter, win or lose. I wasn’t expecting Spence to dominate Porter but he did beat him. It wasn’t a controversial decision.
Two, the old adage of styles make fights come to play.
At this point, the idea of Spence beating Crawford has taken a hit hit it’s still a 50/50 fight. I lean towards Spence depending on how good/bad his eye is.

Plain and simple, Crawford look worst against and older porter than Spence did in 2019, Crawford doesn’t have what it takes to beat spence ,plain and simple, he was gifted a stoppage by his friends the Porters,Combat Talk Radio likes this.
