Lol. GGG and Makabu are in “different weight classes.”

Plant was smashed… Porter’s dad stopped the fight while Shawn was up and angry…

Crawford didn't look great but in the end but time shows his game plan worked very well and he did what none of the other elite fighters could, that has to count for something too.

Canelo's defense has generally looked better but it also wasn't as great when he stepped up in comp too - GGG, who wasn't even that fast at the age Canelo fought him, tagged him with the jab all night long in the first fight, I don't remember the Lara fight too much now but I had Lara winning. And other than that who has Canelo really fought that has shown they can still hang at the elite level when he fought them and for which Canelo did not have a weight advantage over where he's shown such great defense? Derevychenko would have been a great fight to measure - essentially a middleweight Porter - but of course Canelo didn't fight him. If I'm not mistaken, the only mandatory Canelo's ever fought was a guy who really shouldn't have even been sanctioned to fight him.

Like it or not, as good as Canelo looks, you have to weigh that against the fact that he hand picks most of his opponents as there's essentially no one that will say no to him nor does he need to fight certain contenders to make a name for himself anymore. Of course he will look magical if he's choosing who gets to test him. And you also have to weigh how someone looks when they're just fighting mandatories, any guy with a belt (in every division they go to, not cherry picking which division they become undisputed in) and fighting the guys the public wants to see. And now Canelo is handpicking Makaba or whatever his name is, I'm willing to guess he will have great defense in the test in picked for himself again. Just imagine if he never lost to Mayweather or fought Lara, we'd probably be saying how easily Canelo would dominate them.
Canelo is fighting heavy hitters and guys significantly bigger than him. If you ever stepped in a gym you’d acknowledge that. Getting clipped by Mean Machine or going 10 against a smaller Porter… there’s levels to this game.

”handpicking” Makuba. You Canelo haters really don’t believe what you’re saying. Lol

They're both great and highly skilled fighters. You can argue which one is better over all but you're dumb if you try and make out that either one is "levels above" the other.

big slow and useless. porter has been in with elite fighters and done well, what fighters have plant saunders and smith been in with? saunders struggled with eubank jr and smith and saunders both had fits with john ryder.

Actually...I think Canelo is more WELL ROUNDED, his Defense is better than Crawford he is actually Slicker than Bud...that is actually Interesting

Bud is more Versatile Offensively with the Ability to be effect as Southpaw and Orthodox

Do we really want to go down the list of boxers who outboxed Canelo?

Canelo has the better resume and should be p4p but let's not become delusional
Canelo against all of Crawford’s level of opposition would look like GOD boxing them.

I love Porter, but what would Canelo do with him and the rest of Buds opposition?

Canelo would probably be bored fighting all those guys on Buds list.

Example: Why does Berlanga look like a killer? Because he’s fighting low levels dudes. Bud looks masterful against average opposition…that’s why so many fans (the smart ones) no matter the boxer, wait until they consistently fight top dogs before jumping on the hype train. Oh and by the way, I thought Porter was winning until he got knocked down.

Do you think I rated Canelo when he fought a bunch of nobodies and then fought and easily beat an old Shane Mosley? Nahhh

Canelo is clearly a better fighter than Crawford.

Crawford resume is garbage, and he is 34 years old.

I want to see Crawford against Charlo o Tzyu in 154 or Andrade in 160.

Because thats the kind of things Canelo is doing.
