I'm gonna be honest and this are just my thoughts, these are not facts, just an opinion, listen me well.
Since a long time ago I've always said that there were 4 guys who were very talented slick fighters, BJS, Andrade, Plant and Bivol, now Bivol fights in a different way than thes first 3 i mentioned so we'll leave him out of this discussion.
I'm not a 100% believer in compubox but it helps me to validate the eye test I got from a lot of fighters, BJS, Andrade and Plant are guys who carry very similar compubox numbers on their fights, they the kind of dudes who are great at winning rounds and who almost doesn't get hit, I always thought that BJS was gonna be the hardest test for Canelo of this 3 due to his ankward slick southpaw stance and his great jab, I was proved wrong by Plant as I think Plant did a better job than Saunders against Canelo.
One thing I was sure before coming into the fight with Canelo is that Plant had a better jab than Saunders, and he definitely put a hell of a job outjabbing Canleo by a huge margin. Now onto my point.
After watching Canelo deal with BJS and Plant I've got to the conclusion that slickness, ankwardness and a good jab is not gonna cut it off against Canelo, stop it, you are gonna need more a of a top boxer puncher or a relentless swarmer to beat Canelo, this is just me but I've seen Andrade fight since a long time ago, and I tell you, there is no way in hell this guy beats Canelo, he makes a lot mistakes that you can't make against Canelo, the Liam Williams fight told me everytying I had to know about a Canelo-Andrade fight, the dude is slower and less explosive than Plant and to me has the worst jab of the 3, if you ask me how would I define Andrade as a boxer my answer would be that he is a little heavier handed BJS with a worse jab.
As of today there are only 3 guys I give a solid chance to beat Canelo: Beterbiev, Benavidez and Charlo.
I'm no fortune teller, I can't say I'm 100 right, this is my belief and I 100% defend it because I know I'm right most of the times that I'm wrong plus watching boxing for 20 years. Andrade ain't gonna do it, his style will win him some rounds at the best and he would get countered and punished to the body all night. Canelo left hook would kill his right side, fight would play almost exactly as BJS.
