Michael Hunter lying on twitter doesn't mean something is "on record." If Hunter's accusation was true, Martin would have lost his rating. Please show me where the IBF said Martin pulled out of an ordered elimination bout. You don't understand the words you use and then get upset when you're wrong all the time.

A fighter cannot go and say put me in number 1 or 2 ,they go down a list and if someone declines it’s counted as a forfeit .
Two fighters in the top 15 absolutely can go to the IBF and request to fight for #2, just as two fighters in the top 5 can go to the IBF and request to fight for #1. What you're talking about is someone losing their rating if they refuse an ordered eliminator. Martin still has his rating, which proves you're wrong.

Hrgovic is already in the final elimination bout
False. You must first win an eliminator to gain a top 2 IBF rating. Once you're in the top 2, then you can fight a final eliminator. Once again, you're wrong.

Redeemer is a troll account. He has no idea what he's talking about when it comes to the alphabelts.

You constantly post false information and have no idea what you're talking about.

I haven't posted any false information. There's nothing to spin. Martin won an eliminator to gain a top 2 IBF rating. You have to win TWO eliminators in the IBF to become mandatory. One to get into the top 2, and then another to become mandatory.

If Ortiz wins this, I don't wanna hear any more excuses about 40+ being too old for boxing.

Regardless the result of this, I wanna see Martin against Wilder or Helenius in the future and I wanna see Ortiz -Ruiz.

It's an IBF final eliminator with the winner guaranteed a shot at the heavyweight championship of the world. King Kong has headlined a successful $75 PPV previously.

King Kong and Prince Charles are both going to want large purses for this fight. The economics make it impossible to just give the fight away for free. It's a budget PPV at $39, aimed at heavyweight fans. There are enough heavyweight fans out there to support a card like this. If it doesn't interest you, don't buy it. Heavyweight fans are a special breed. Boxing history is littered with these quirky budget heavyweight PPVs. It's a boxing tradition. Fight gets announced. Heavyweight fans are excited. Everyone else complains. It's been going on for decades.
When a PPV is made, is the network involved (FOX) taking less financial responsibility for the card, or are they dedicating $0 of their budget?

Thinking of watching this live at the hard rock. Decent heavyweight card

I hate myself for it but I will probably get this PPV. Some decent HW action on the card and hopefully these fights will provide some clarity in the HW landscape. Also a factor is that I will probably be tired of watching college football by New Years Day.

I initially picked Martin but I’m going Ortiz by stoppage rnd 4 .

If Ortiz wins it will be his best win in his career against a real heavyweight who can punch ,he’s earned the reputation to be mocked at until he does though because two Wilder fights is all he has on his resume .
