The real message here is for all the "champions" who are avoiding each other hoping that social media will pressure Canelo to fight them next and give them a golden paycheck. The message is simple: quit whining, fight each other, take risks and create your own history. Oh, the weeping and gnashing of teeth by these whiners will now be heard around the world.

Roy Jones Jr., who was an even better fighter than Canelo, went from 175, up to HW, won the title from John Ruiz, and was never the same! Time will tell!
Roy went to Heavyweight from Lightheavy weight and came back and beat the best one in Antonio Tarver, but maybe you missed that and he also beat Bernard at 160 which you made no mention of, so he did them all 160, 168, 175, and 210+

He came back and had a controversial MD vs. Tarver, then got KO'd by Tarver, and then KO'd by Glen Johnson, then lost by UD to Tarver again! Like I said, he was a better fighter than Canelo (maybe you missed that part) but after John Ruiz, he was never the same!

I’m wondering what happened to all of the Canelo fans who argued that other fighters needed to earn their shot at Canelo? For example, Andrade hasn’t earned it, he’s terrible, Charlo hasn’t earned it, he just struggled with a low level opponent, Ggg hasn’t earned it because he hasn’t done anything since the rematch, Benavidez hasn’t earned it because he missed weight.

So now, what exactly has this guy done other than get stopped early by Bellew? Apparently all you need to be is a vulnerable fighter with a belt and you’re automatically eligible.

They have gone into hiding, that's their favorite quote, "who has he fought ", or "why don't they fight each other" lol

Canelo looks like he is a little wanting for power at super middleweight tbh. I don't see he can go much higher unless he cherry picks weak fighters. He really had to land a lot on Plant to hurt him...

He took Canelo's **** out of his mouth long enough to be mistaken as having a surprised look.

Haters will hate, but going up 22 pounds to face the champ in that div will always be risky, idc who you are. Fair play to the ginger man.

Once Canelo broke free from gbp, he said and meant he’ll only fight in meaningful, legacy creating fights, which he’s done so far. Although I’d like to see Andrade, charlo, Benavides, just to make a few, you can’t hate him wanting to win another title at a different weight class. This is not an 7-8 LB move from 160 to 168 or 168 to 175, he’s going up 22 pounds to face the champ there.
