Yes I think so too. Also Canelo doesn't really box anymore. He just alternates disguised big shots between the body and the head. He is winning fights with his chin and brute force with a little boxing acumen thrown in. Sooner or later that chin won't hold up against the bigger guys

That's an interesting take. I'd probably argue that saying he 'doesn't really box anymore' is a little extreme.

But the thing is, I get what you're saying: He doesn't look in any danger of being stopped, these guys can't handle his power, and he knows it, so he's ploughing forward w/out fear.

Having said that, he doesn't seem to be getting caught too cleanly too often by anyone since Golovkin II, so its not as if he's completely lacking in defensive nous, for instance. Also, he's a more entertaining watch now he's coming forward, considering he already possessed a near-full boxer's 'toolkit' (IMO).

If, in future, he comes unstuck fighting like this and gets KTFO..... hell, still getting the entertainment, so I ain't complaining

I'm serious though. Wilder could barely hit Fury, how will he able to hit Canelo? This "sport" is a circus, not a sport. Whatever the power brokers in the sport want to happen, it will happen. So why not Canelo vs Wilder? Fans already believed tons of complete bull**** fights. Jake Paul had a real argument for a draw or win vs Floyd, if you just watch the punches landed, instead of the commentary. Yarde couldnt stop Kovalev but Canelo did with two punches, and Yarde is way bigger and more powerful than Yarde. Lomachenko and Pacquiao both randomly had shoulder injuries in the biggest fights of their careers vs American stars or up and coming American fighters, and neither bothered with a rematch clause, not even Loma who knew he had a risky shoulder.

Ridiculous stuff happens all the time in Boxing. Why not Canelo vs Wilder? If people already fall for all these big lies, what's one more bigger lie? What's the difference really?

In fairness, it’s a murky sport, and I’ll tal your point on that, but nah man.

Wilder’s ****e, but even though he ‘barely’ landed on Fury, when he did land he near-sent him to another dimension.

          I know Canelo’s got a good chin, but sheeeit…

Canelo has certainly morphed into a different fighter his jab is non existant these days he is fighting like smaller Mike Tyson pushing forward with the peekabo stance and unloading hooks.
