Let's see if he re-signs with Top Rank. He'd be crazy to do so IMO.
Pump the brakes ,top tank never had a gun to his head...he could have stipulated in his contract that he wanted guaranteed a big name fighter

Crawford more talented than all of the above has wasted his prime by resigning with top Rank again and again waiting on an old post prime pacquiao to give him a fortune,he has been extremely dumb in his boxing career

His legacy is forever tarnished by his promoter
I agree he should have NEVER (never never never) re-signed with Top Rank. Bad business and Legacy move on his part IMO. He still has time to change his destiny after this Porter fight. He'll be a free agent. Let's see what happens. Don't misunderstand...Crawford is legit but aligning himself with Top Rank took some of his best years from him. One of the PRIMARY reason he originally signed with Top Rank was so he could fight Pac. So again, when it didn't happen in the first contract...there was ABSOLUTELY no reason in the world he should re-signed another contract with them. Still boggles my mind to this day.

No more cherrypicking guys like one legged Benavidez or 34 yr old Porter.

I don’t wanna see this guys anymore.

Ennis has literally fought no-one ranked EVER for ANY belts and is at 28-0. Why would any of the current belt holders respond to him? Go look at his wikipedia page, only 4 of his opponents out of 28 even have a page of their own.

“You’ve got to have a fire in you,” Crawford said. “Some fighters get lazy and comfortable – they become happy with where they are at. "
              Hmm... Ok

Crawford made his choice to sign with Top Rank and then stay with Arum.
He knew the weak welterweight stable at TR and that Arum and Haymon don’t do business unless they are forced too like with the Porter purse bid.
He’s never going to be a big PPV draw at his age and I think he won’t accept his B side status to most PBC fighters to get the fights he wants us to think he wants.

I believe Crawford was born in Sept 1987, and Porter in Oct 1987 making them BOTH 34.

Yeah still he's going to have to fight top prime guys regardless if he wants any legacy at all...

Porters already been through the wars stepping in the ring with top teir opponants ...crawfords going to have to do so much more than beat porter to even have a legacy

I mean Joe calzaghe didn't fight mikkel kessler until he was 35 and that's his only top prime win against a guy worth any note... i don't think porter equals slappys kessler win so crawford is really going to have to do something in the next couple years

Yeah, but Porter has way more war experience. More rounds, more danger and more variety of experience dealing with threats. That must play a factor. Especially given that Porter has either won or gone close to winning even against the REAL best in the class.
