I hear you. I’m rolling with Porter based on what he has shown me at 147. (And perhaps a bit of wishful thinking lol)

I agree Porter has lost some of bigger fights but I think the 34 year old Shawn we have now is better than the Shawn that let Kell Brook hold him all night.

I also understand that the masses have Bud as a big favorite. I think a lot of folks underrate Shawn.

If I had to guess I would say this fight ends up being a close fight that goes the distance. I could be wrong. We’ll see!

This group of idiots are actually upset that two rivals promotions ( Toprank PBC ) have come to an agreement to bring us Terence Crawford vs. Shawn Porter this week, and still are demanding that 'BUD' leave his promotion, in spite the fact that this hurdle has already been overcome -- as I said before and I'll keep saying it, Boxing fans are the dumbest in all of sports.
This post contains so much truth. We as boxing fans shouldn't care less about the greedy bastards running the promotional companies who are preventing the best fights from happening or ruining the excitement by marinating unnecessarily until one or both guys lose.

Do what is best for the sport, let the best fight the best and I for one am very excited for this fight between Porter and Crawford. My prediction is Crawford winning on points.

I’ll keep it a buck with you bro, I think every sport has this problem. Even though it’s not a real sport, but pro wrestling for example, you have the same freaking problem.

I'm from Omaha and my brother is his trainer, and I'm going to tell the real truth. Between him and Bomac, they are difficult to do business with. And Bud isn't always honest about what's going on. They want to be on the A-side of every fight, that's why fights can't be made. He doesn't care about belts anymore, he's just trying to cash out big. He was ducking Porter, that fight could have been made, a long time ago. They lowballed Porter, that's why he didn't take the fight. He told Porter he'd get back to him, if the Pac man fight fell through. The ONLY reason they are fighting, is because the WBO is forcing him. Yet he came out and said "finally someone wants to fight him from PBC.

He knew what he was doing everytime he renew's with Arum. He renewed twice now since hes been at 147 and he knew damn well what his opponent selection would be like each time he decided to renew. He was fine fighting for the minimum guarantees Arum would give him, he dont even care that Arum publicly bad mouths him and says publicly he looses money and dont sell, what kind of promoter is that, he should leave but he dont care about taking risk, in the ring or in business.

DLH and Floyd didnt reach their biggest until they left Arum. Canelo had to leave that initial promoter he had for GBP and pay them out 8 million after that lawsuit years later, then had to ditch Oscar when he was doing him dirty and airing their public laundry like Arum does to Crawford. Each time he left Canelo made more money and had more control of his career.

The other thing I thing people are ignoring is the possibility we see a Pac/Bradley 1 situation.

That's what they're paid to do. He's locked in a contract to fight who Top Rank brings him to fight. Now.....he has the chance to change all that after this fight. Let's see if he re-signs with Top Rank. He'd be crazy to do so IMO.
Fighters can choose who they want. It's not a dictatorship unless they signed a ****** contract which is their own fault. It's whether the fight can be made. I mean talking about Khan - he went for Canelo, 2 weight divisions above him. You think his promoter thought that was a good idea? Literally no one thought that was a good idea lol
