Deals is TC, you have to actually want to fight these guys then you have to actually sign a contract then you have to make some sacrifices on the contract if the fighter is actually an A level fighter. In short Tee-balls you are wealthy, an amazing talent, but you outta grow up and let them balls hang a bit.

This group of idiots are actually upset that two rivals promotions ( Toprank PBC ) have come to an agreement to bring us Terence Crawford vs. Shawn Porter this week, and still are demanding that 'BUD' leave his promotion, in spite the fact that this hurdle has already been overcome -- as I said before and I'll keep saying it, Boxing fans are the dumbest in all of sports.
Do you think that uh..maybe he can jump a bigger better hurdle next time?

How long has he been with top rank? At least the whole time I've known of him since he beat Ricky burns ? And this is the first proper fighter he's faced since burns

This isnt acceptable from someone with crawfords talent just a waste of his and our time with the matchmaking they've been doing

"Solidify my greatness", Crawford is full of himself. There has always been opportunity to step it up, hiding behind negotiations doesn't justify that lack of opponents that he has faced. he is more worried about filling his bank account than seeking greatness.

Crawford is trash. He never fights anyone. Picking people like a finished Amir Khan because they were big (ish) names once.

He's done with Top Rank after this fight. Regarding the people he's faced that's on Top Rank not PBC. Top Rank just didn't want to pay $$$ for the right fighters. The WBO mandated this one, so he really had no choice but to negotiate with Porter / PBC or Crawford would lose his belt. Trust me he's gone after this. Top Rank dangled the Pac fight in front of him for years like a carrot but never produced. That's the fight he really, really wanted. That sting still burns...

No more cherrypicking guys like one legged Benavidez or 34 yr old Porter.

I don’t wanna see this guys anymore.
If you are going to speak at least have your facts in order! Now how old is Crawford? 34 and he’s fighting a solid proven former 2X Champion who actually is 35 so since you were wrong with these little facts why don’t U just shut the fuuukkk up! Most People Whom Have Never Fought Talk The Loudest BS, Is That U?

That's on Top Rank not Crawford. He's got skills he just hadn't been able to test out until this week (maybe Benavidez). He can only fight who his promoter feeds him. That's what they're paid to do. He's locked in a contract to fight who Top Rank brings him to fight. Now.....he has the chance to change all that after this fight. Let's see if he re-signs with Top Rank. He'd be crazy to do so IMO.

Well I guess you can blame the promoters but just an example but looking back at Amir khans career he was after a pacquiao and mayweather fight whilst he was fighting the likes of maidana, judah ,lamont peterson and Danny garcia ...those guys realised they'd throw their careers away waiting for the big call and fought other top guys

Crawford more talented than all of the above has wasted his prime by resigning with top Rank again and again waiting on an old post prime pacquiao to give him a fortune,he has been extremely dumb in his boxing career

His legacy is forever tarnished by his promoter

I disagree with you because this fight wasn’t made because Haymon and Bob agreed to do business. It was ordered by the WBO.

Crawford had one fight left on his deal, Arum is on record as having difficulty promoting him, and Haymon wants to bring him to PBC. That is how this fight got made.

Just one more thing- when posters discuss the political issues of the sport and how to resolve them to make fights, that isn’t favoring one promoter over another.

Those conversations actually show that boxing fans aren’t ******. That they in fact look at all aspects of the sports.
