All the haters on here claiming Canelo is cherry picking, before we get into that, this is just a request, it does not mean it's going to happen, it could be a ploy for his next opponent not to ask for a 20 million dollar purse like all the others that think their worth that much. Now, how is this a cherry pick? If this happens, that would mean Canelo would have to move 20 pounds north from one fight to another, that is not easy, if it was, everyone would do it regardless of who you're fighting. This guy is way bigger than Canelo plus he's a big puncher, how in the hell is that going to be easy? You don't see Crawford or Spence jumping to super middleweight, even if they challenged a B level opponent, that would not be easy, and honestly would probably lose. How about Charlo jumping to light heavyweight? Point here is that when you jump up that much, the size difference is very apparent, and you are putting yourself in danger, no doubt, again, if it was easy everyone would do it, Even if Canelo jumped up to fight a journeyman at cruiserweight, it would be hard just because of the weight, if Canelo actually jumps up and takes on a champion, my friends, that is some big brass balls.
