Can this guy keep cherry picking the way he does and still be considered the best Mexican of all time? The 168 division was one of the weakest of all weight classes. Does it really matter if he wins every weight class by fighting his 75 year old uncle Pablo?

Moving up to cruiserweight, a division 60 lbs above where he started as a professional, is cherrypicking? Just listen to yourself.

If it's so easy, why doesn't everyone do it, For example, why doesn't Crawford go up to 160? An actual comparison, would be Crawford jumping to 167, that would be 20 pounds north, which would be what Canelo would have to do if he did this. Do you see Crawford beating any Super Middleweight for that matter, he would get killed going up against someone that size. How about Spence jumping to Super Middleweight? It's not easy, if you are calling this a cherry pick, you are just obviously a Canelo hater.

I think by now even casuals are starting to notice what Canelo is doing by going up in weight classes without fighting those he should.

Genuine question - which fighter in recent history has yo yo'd up and down the weights with such regularity or ease? None. Why? Well because in most cases it is not humanly possible without it physically taking a toll on the body. Canelo is definitely on something and Eddy Reynoso is rotten to the core!

Just look at the changes in Canelo's physique throughout the years - it just scrreams PEDs. Even Eddie Hearn before aligning with Canelo remarked that it looked like Canelo was on PEDs.

I believe Canelo's natural physique would've capped out at 160lbs. His normal weight was 155lbs but as his man body/strength kicked in it he would've grown out to a max of 160lbs. He's only 5 foot 8 which is small for a JM/MW... All further body growth has almost certainly been achieved by PED use. At times hes definitely had that steroid look - just abnormally thick and looking like hes got water retention going on.

You read too much into things you shouldn't & don't give any weight to what you should.

Trinidad went up in weight drastically as he aged,Toney,Bhop,Pac, Floyd,JCC,Dlh,Bud,RJJ,hell even Floyd Patterson went up hella lbs over career & countless others like Leonard

you act like Canelo Hasn't always been a stocky natural mw who hadn't matured yet despite already being a p4p even at that age(he was still growing in boxing terms which is much different to normal aging,let alone for a genuine prodigy many of us have been saying all along he would develop into.

When fighters who started out very young as pros grow,they tend to move up greatly,the only difference with Canelo is hes able to move up & down because hes more disciplined/all around more well-rounded than 99%,& hes able to gain a bunch too because he has to rehydrate after weigh ins anyways.

(& Hes short af which allows him to pick a weight anywhere between 160-185 these days) Common sense really
