based on actual quality of fighters or all the weight division jumping, if just based on the names and quality of fighters I imagine theyre plenty but off the top -

Froch - Jean pascal, Jermaine Taylor, Andre Dirrell, Mikkel Kessler, Arthur Abraham, Glen Johnson, Andre Ward, Lucian Bute
Mayweather - Oscar De La Hoya, Ricky Hatton, Juan Manuel Marquez, Shane Mosely, Victor Ortiz, Miguel Cotto, Robert Gurrero, Saul "Canelo" Alvarez
Pacquiao has some good 8 fight runs, even Khans little 8 fight run is comparable - Kotelink, Salita, Mallinaiggi, Maidana, McCloskley, Judah, Peterson, Garcia

Think about it , Alvarez has rocky fielding and avni yildrim amongst his last 8 fights golovkin old, kovalev washed up. callum smith billy joe saunders overated brits. BJS not a super middleweight. so its impressive but you are clearly blowing it out of proportion .

Now that we live in the alphabet title age it's easier than ever to be a multi division champion, especially when you have the money and the backing that canelo has. Just wait until a belt holder is old,inactive,injured or untested,and just offer them a few millions to slide the belt right over. And of course,it would be the WeBeCrooks that give the greenlight for the fight. That list is laughable coming from someone hating on who Canelos faced in every single division. The only 1 comparable is Floyd & several of those have serious asterisks,& Ggg twice,Jacobs,Kovalev,Smith,Plant,&BJS is a much better list than any of those you listed.

On Floyds list he weightdrained Canelo,old ass mosely way older than Kovalev & shot too,Cotto great win,JMM he dragged up several divisions & pulled horrible shenanigans changing weight multiple times at last minute,DeLaHoya solid win,Hatton was a tiny hypejob,Guerrero a bum,Ortiz sucker punch ko & among worst quitters of all time (a certified bum)

You actually comparing those lists to Canelos list going up v way bigger guys who were all champs & several Undefeated champs/lineal etc & beat 3 Undefeated champs 3 kos v champs.

(& You can't list guys who lost like Froch ffs, especially considering he was only in 1 division & those opponents don't compare)

1. VADA does not test year round because it's too expensive to do so (which has been discussed in the past), that being year-round testing outside of competition. You begin testing as soon as you sign the contract to fight your opponent.
2. You have to provide your whereabouts for a 60 minute period of time, between set hours during the day, that being 6 am to 11 pm. So you basically get to state when you'll be tested.
3. You can no-show for a test too, no problem. In fact, you can no-show twice and it won't be a problem. You'll still be listed on the program.
4. VADA uses WADA laboratories. And the laboratory in Mexico has been shut down, just recently. Before then it had been suspended several times for unscrupulous conduct. (This is why Canelo was surprised when they came to him before the second fight with Golovkin. He wasn't expecting anyone to show up in Mexico because the hardly EVER show up.)

That's matchmaking. You make the fights that earn you the most money with the least risk. You pick styles that suit you. You catch people at the right time. There's literally no-one in the sport doing anything but that. He obviously looks at Makabu and thinks he's a safe bet.

It just so happens that Canelo's safe bets wouldn't be safe for most. Who unifies in 11 months at SMW, then jumps up to Cruiserweight to fight a current champion?

That is a weak, 1-dimensional question. No one has denied canelo's resume and I do think he is a quality fighter. It's the way he picks opponents and goes on the path of least resistance. His team just picked an opponent who got ko'ed in his debut fight in africa, and got ko'ed by tony bellew in 3 rounds. Puh-lease....he is not even the best cruiserweight. Canelo has unfinished business around his weight class.

Vada requires a fighter to be available at ALL times via cellphone etc,& have to notify vada wherever they travel to(& Vada shows up at random times)
