Bud can catapult himself if he can stop Porter. Then push for Ugas and Spence unification. If they aren't will to sign move to 154 and fight Charlo or Castano.

As far as I'm concerned; Both dudes are cherrypickers who take tewer risks in the ring; Especially Canelo Alvarez who is a notorious and blatant cherrypicker who also cheats..

This is spot on. It's a shame that we don't support our own black American boxers the way we do European fighters.

Crawford needed to leave Arum long time ago. Canelo maybe independent moves and then his career blew up even more.

We need to take responsibility for our careers. Until we realize this, we will always rely on others.

I love Crawford but we knew this for years is that his career is stalling, for years we been saying this. So he needs to take responsibility.

Boxing is tribal...the path Crawford is talking about starts with having a core of hard riders like De La Hoya, Mayweather, Pacquaio, and Alvarez had...it's more than just fighting ability. He'd have gotten the fights even with TR but he didn't bring in the money because his core ain't broad enough...spent too much time fighting in Omaha.

#1 P4P usually means #1 earner...even beating Porter won't change it because what he's talking about is more than talent & accomplishment, it's also race, nationality, notoriety & personality. At age 34...if I was him, I'd go after Charlo & snatch a title in another division...its a risk but thatd be huge.

He's running out of time as a prime fighter...better hurry!

When they fight more than twice a year and stop chasing one dude we do support them.

Its not because he's black, it's because he's Crawford. Personality is everything. People discriminate way more on personality, than race, gender, sexual orientation. If you're likable, it dont matter what color is your skin. Black athletes that are likable make it far, any athlete that's quiet and blames others is not going anywhere, including blonde Europeans with blue eyes.

He fights threats, to be specific. Same as Porter. That's why they get big fights.

                  Crawford fights. But not threats.

Only one opponent at 147 even comes close, and Crawford took that guy's advantage away by faking a hand injury to force a delay and throw off camp - and STILL couldn't hurt him.

It's swarming, often trigger stoppages of guys he should beat.

Meanwhile, Canelo is either clearly outboxing champions, knocking them out, or worse. Even ones NSB says he's ducking.

That’s 100% on him for signing with Top Rank again. He wasted the best part of his career signing with TR again and by the time his contract is up his best years will be behind him. If he signs with TR again he doesn’t truly want the biggest fights.

Bud WAS my man but doesn't seem a bit interested in a fight with Spence , I understand they all want easier one's and have been turned into business men by greedy promoters but can you imagine where our memories would be (or not!) if the likes of Hearns , Hagler , Duran , Leonard and Benitez had the same 'BUD' mindset.
