a) Cotto's fight night weight is usually just under 160, so there's 10 pounds in it, not 20.

b) Pac's fight night weight is identical to Floyd's fight night weight. Do you think that any Welterweight who can't knock Floyd out must by definition be a second rate fighter?

The rules of boxing define weight class by weigh-in weight, and by the rules of boxing, Pac is only moving up less that one division. If he can't be competitive less than a division above his own natural weight class, he shouldn't be in the P4P lists at all, never mind being rated #1.

I don't believe he was expressing what he honestly and objectively believes in, I believe he was just showing himself up as hater. IMO, no rational person could honestly believe what he wrote in that post.

Pac on fight night is 147-148. Cotto said he wanted to come in at 155 on fight night.

Dave you are correct. I have been one of the posters that have cleared this out for him and he doesn't give up. It is a shame that he still goes back to that ****** theory on what Pacman weighed years ago.

The truth is that same as Pacman was fighting in the PAST at 106 Cotto also was fighting in his PAST at 105. As an amateur Cotto was facing guys like Ivan Calderon and others at 105 and spent more than 6 years as an amateur while his body grew. Pacman didn't have the amateur background or experience and spent his first 6 years from 106 to 122 mostly fighting 95% of his fights against guys in the Phillipines untgil he came to USA in 2001.

Like i said 106 is part of Pacman's PAST as it was in Cotto's PAST also.

I bet even you was once at 106 lbs in your PAST also.

If my honest opinion is that he isn't expressing a sincere opinion but is just hating on someone, and if you accept my right to express that opinion, how would you suggest expressing it? "Spoken like a true hater" is just saying what I honestly believe is going on. I don't see how you could express that opinion (that he's just being a hater) in a less arrogant or condescending way. And I don't see why it's arrogant or condescending to accuse someone of being a hater, if you honestly believe it to be true.
