Here we go again...the Pac vs Cotto 20+ Page thread lol...

I will say this though..

Pacman is good...but the fact is...he has NOT faced quality opposition as of late...Hatton...DLH...Diaz... I cannot see anyone argue any one of those match ups.
Marquez was the only person he faced and that was a while back at lower weight.

Then there is Cotto which has faced legit QUALITY WWs CLottey, Mosely, Margo, all of which are creme of the crop of the division. Quality in my opinion are legitimate competition...in their respective class. SO...in their respective class regardless of catch weights...Hatton was overrated..DLH old and passed his prime...Diaz is a tin can. and then there was Marquez...a true warrior...(which beat pacman)

OK fine...MOSELY is old too and passed his prime...but guess what..COtto beat him...and MARGO is a big WW that stands 5'11...so what if he lost.

Cotto beats Pac...KO in the 10th.

i just honestly don't see how pacman thinks he will win,based on what?? his fightn against an old,weight drained oscar,who in reality was done,wasn't even a champion,was losing fights,he was nothing,just his name,,,hatton??..please,the guy is overrated,who else? david diaz? one of the worst champs ever,no wonder he turned down a lot of money to fight marquez and went for less with a terrible champ in diaz..if pacman thinks that these last three fights are the reason he will beat cotto,he's wrong...cotto is just too big for him,yes too big,if manny were a natural welter,i'll give him a chance,but he's not,cotto is bigger,will hit harder than lightweight marquez,diaz,hatton,weight drained oscar....first flush shot and he's going down and out,he'll be knocked out badly

Even if true (and it's far too early in Cotto's career to judge that objectively), so what? That's meaningless in the context of their fight.

if Cotto can't do it in his division he needs to go into hiding.

Pac is now a natural Jnr Welterweight. It should hardly surprise anyone if a natural Jnr Welterweight who is also generally rated as the best fighter in the world P4P can't compete just 5lb higher.

There should be no shame for either fighter, whoever wins - that sort of talk is ridiculous. If it was such a mismatch as you pretend, and if Pac really had no chance whatsoever of winning, no one would bother to watch the fight.

Whats that suppose to mean. All this Pac fights drained fighters talk is crap. Pac didnt drain DLH, Delaquitter did that him self. Also knowing that Oscar hadnt been at 147 in years why was he still the favorite to KO Pac. These so called experts which were about 90% of them should of used their expertise and known that Delaquitter wasnt going to be the same fighter going down to 147 to fight Pac but instead they still picked Delaquitter to KO and outbox Pac.


And Hatton, the dominate LWW for the past how many years. Pac shut him up like a baby crying for his pacifier. Hatton was never weight drained in fact Pac fought Hatton at Hattons dominate weight rather then having Hatton move up to an uncomfortable weight like Floyd did.

This Pac fights weight drained fighters is B.S.

So whats gonna happen when Pac beats Cotto, Cotto was weight drained 2lbs less then his normal fight weight.

for real man i think its lame that people keep sayin that pac drained all these fighters if the firghters thought they would be drained at that weight then they shouldnt have taken the fight and he did fight hatton at hattons weight no excuses for that he took him out with no problem...and while i think that cotto will put up a better fight than those two did i still dont see him winning this if manny can keep fighting the way he has been but if cotto catches him then pac will be in for one HELL of a night...really excited for this fight
