Dawson was a walking corpse when Ward made him come back down to 168 after fighting at 175 for 6+ years. Come one, don't give us that bullsh.it. I can just imagine the sh.it Canelo would get if he made someone come down in weight and enter the ring as a corpse. But for Ward, it's perfectly ok.

Kessler is ok. Won't make it into the HOF, decent champ, nothing great. Levels below Froch, Kovalev, Smith, BJS, Plant.
smith damn near lost to ryder and should have done, BJS sc****d past ryder by one or two rounds, this is a guy who is a domestic level middleweight, i couldnt even name plants last few opponents and he was beat before he even got in the damn ring. i couldnt be further from being a fan of ward but the fighters he fought were proper fighters not bluffers who had made a living fighting ****e until they got called up for the canelo jackpot.

      LOL. No they're not.

Kessler lost all his big fights, except for the one Froch win. Same for Froch, has a couple of good wins, nothing spectacular.

....And who exactly has Plant beaten?

Who has Saunders and Smith beaten?

Froch especially is levels above all 3.

Ward didnt do everything he couldve done to make GGG fight.

          Ward didnt rematch Froch.

          Ward didnt fight Stevenson.
How did Ward duck Bute? Bute opted out of being in the tournament where the best fought the best. Bute hadn't fought a damn soul in his career and after Ward embarrassed FROCH FROCH went on to face BUTE and destroy him. Bute was dog sh*it no point mentioning him. GGG is still campaigning at 160 so there is nothing to add there after his trainer at the time says he beats anyone between 154-168. GGG was more concerned losing weight to fight Floyd than moving up. As for stevenson he hibernated in Canada firstly to evade kovalev and then acted like a cheerleader when Ward won the belts

You can try to rewrite history but I lived it. Ward did NOT take every fight he could have - like you said.

He ducked Bute, ducked Froch rematch, didnt take GGG fight, and never fought Stevenson

I like Ward but to be honest he is a 1 handed boxer and lacked depth in his skill set at times, He beat who he had to beat tho but wasnt someone you watched and was in amazement like I think you should when watching ATG'S

He wasn’t the most stylistically pleasing guy to watch but I always felt Ward was a superb technician. He could read fighters and adapted so well in fights. I actually thought he just lost the first Kovalev fight but the way he adapted in those last 6 rounds was so impressive and he continued that in the rematch. Same against Froch, he completely took the left hand away from him. The point I’m trying to make is, even against the very best like a RJJ, Spinks, Foster etc, I feel he’d find a way to give them problems, might not necessarily beat them but I think he’s competitive with anyone.

Ward dominated Froch. Carl wanted no part of that rematch.

You lived it?? shut up will you. Living in London i was forced to listen to every Froch interview he was never ever interested in the Ward rematch..... He even said noone would want to see it as Ward is boring. Froch even revisted the Kessler rematch. Use your noggin and ask yourself why he was not keen to fight Andre , knowing when they did fight Ward came into the fight injured?. Stop using the word ducked where there is no evidence to suggest this
