No one ever tested Jones chin during his smw run and as great as he was it was exposed eventually and Bhop was a grinder but if you were technically sound like Canelo you could beat him.

Canelo beats both but Jones would be the trickier of the two.

Jones? Imagine Mayweather, but bigger, stronger, faster and with more pop in his fists. Not a chance.

We’re talking prime not 22 yr old inexperienced deHydrated Canelo right?

Roy was great but unlike Floyd he made a lot of mistakes that most guys couldn’t make him pay for. Canelo would make him pay.

he's still flat footed , but with better head movement. cmon man. You can't be serious. Jones and Hopkins at mw aren't 2 guys that will tire out and become stationary targest by round 9. Canelo is beating the best of his division today with Saunders, Smith, and Plant, but wtf are they??? Hopkins , at his peak and not a 45 or 50 year old version, would be leading with his head, jumping in and out, clinching, hitting low, turning him, and just all up in his chest for 12 rounds straight. There were guys losing weight to get out of 160 when hopkins was the champ. No one claimed he was ducking them because a lot of guys simply didn't want a title shot. I'm not a roy jones fan, but he was just too fast for to be beat by a flat footed mw . no way. Stop these silly threads. Canelo against Trinidad, Joppy, or keith Holmes are better opponents for him. And even Tito was dangerous.

After watching Floyd dominate Canelo and Roy Jones dominate James Toney, I'd have to think the the result between Jones and Canelo is obvious.

Fights I’d love to see. Roids power was no joke. He was one of those guys that could land a punch that looked just pure speed but would spaghetti leg someone. Nard was a difficult, dirty crab walker. Canelo is almost perfect in what he does. I can see all sorts of ways it working out. Canelo breaks down guys till he can take them out late. Roid would have at least the ability to stun Canelo early. Nelo would have to work through a cut and several cup shots to beat nard at his best. Very close fights. Nelo could potentially run out of time against both compared to his latest opponents. No definitive answer.

                Both beat him.

He doesn't take a round off Roy Jones.

No chance vs RJJ. Hopkins is a 50 - 50 fight, think James Toney may be a bit difficult for canelo. Mirror match a bit, but toney is bigger.
