True. We all talk about Mayweather not facing a real challenge in the last few years but still give him way too much credit when it comes somebody like JMM.

With all due respect to you, Shane is not a top-tier "boxer. He should be, but he isn't. He is a top-tier fighter, largely because of his physical gifts. But as far as being a pure boxer, he isn't in the league of FMJ.

I have seen Shane outboxed by Vargas (!), Oscar, Forrest, Winky, and Cotto. Heck, people forget that Shane was troubled by Mayorga. Can you imagine Mayorga hitting Floyd repeatedly?

When SM fought Miguel, the fight was close through about 8. Probably dead even; they had been trading. As soon as Miguel started to move away and box Shane's ears off, he swept the remaining rounds.

It is my belief that Floyd would soundly outbox SM at 135, or at 147. I think Miguel, despite being slower than Shane, would be a more difficult fight for FMJ.

He's a "top notch pure boxer".Ive seen better fighters with less of his speed box better.I agree that Cotto did def beat him at his own game.It's been a while since shane has been floored.He's very catious.This long lay off with floyd might possibly be a bad thing.Only next week could tell.

You guys need to learn about boxing , the hard work is done the peaking is the next phase , you dont peak a week before the event lol , you peak to early about 3 wks out when you push to hard for to long , its all good for JMM and he is on the boil just like every fighter Floyd fights , he brings the best out of a fighter and JMM will be the best he has ever been .

Last training video i saw of Marquez he looked wickedly fast. I don't know if it was the show that was broadcasting the training that made it look so fast or what but if he does in fact bring that speed into the ring on fight night he will give PBF tons of problems.
