I AGREE WITH YOU 100% The only person out there that I think can beat Mayweather or have the best chance is Paul Williams...Cotto, Mosely, Pacman, and JMM do not have the skills, speed, or power to beat Floyd.

Paul williams WILL Defeat Pavlik...Someone please PM me for some action on this!

You are on CRACK ******* if you think JMM vs Pacman 3 would be more significant than Floyd vs. pacman if they win their fights! The biggest fight that can be made for significance right now is Mayweather vs. Pacman, PERIOD! Not just for money, but from every aspect of the game. Pacman already beat JMM once and he tied him the first time when he almost had him out of there in the first round. The third fight wouldn't be that significant because JMM never beat Pacman; even though people say he did, that really doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things.

you'd have to be crazy to miss this fight if your a fight fan. Great Card, two great fighters, the weight issue is not as big as people make it out to be because marquez reportedly weighed 144 on fight night in his last bout, as was the pacquioa and DLH weight drama as Manny has been blowing up on fight night to welterweight weights for a while, its the previous p4p until he retired fighting the current #2 p4p who arguably beat the #1 p4p( my card had marquez winning both). If your excited about mayweather pacquioa then you should be almost as much excited about this fight. style wise i think its a more competitive fight than with manny but hopefully we'll find out. I got mayweather against both of them though. I don't really understand the logic of manny beating mayweather it would just be an exciting UD in my opinion.

I agree with you that williams could defeat mayweather. However that fight will NEVER happen. And we all know why.But but your off to say that cotto pac or mosley dont have a chance to crack floyd.

Pac is the smallest pick, but shane and cotto are large WW's.And to say mosley doesnt have the skills of speed, and power to defeat floyd is absured.Shane can be a brawler and boxer whenever he pleases, his speed is 2nd to floyd and not far,and power wise? Are you kidding me?...this is the guy that knocked margarito's head off.You do know that?? I'd like floyd to attempt that.

Only one point on the cards separates them over 24 rounds - and more boxing experts scored the second fight to Marquez than scored it to Pac. If ever there was a rivalry that deserved a trilogy, this is it. It would be very sad if it didn't happen. Only a complete Mayweather fanatic or obsessive Pac worshipper would say otherwise.

Great rivalries like theirs, between evenly matched opponents who are both great fighters are, more than anything else, what makes boxing such a great sport. That's why the Zale-Graziano trilogy is still remembered so many years after it happened, and the Ali-Frazier trilogy, and the LaMotta-Ray Robinson rivalry. More recently, the Barrera-Morales and Vasquez-Marquez trilogies will make those fighters achieve immortality in a way they would certainly not have done without those rivalries. In 50 years time Barrera and Morales will be remembered more for their rivalry with each other than for anything else.

In the great scheme of things, Pac-JMM III needs to happen for the sake of boxing.

Good post. It's like some posters on here saying shane vs cotto again will be a bigger fight then cotto vs margarito 2.

Cotto beat shane, lost su****iously to margarito. Then fans would wanna see the avenge.

                Payback is heavier then repeat.

                  Very well written.

But if pac wins and marquez loses there wouldnt be a significance.Pac would be surpassing him legacy wise.I see that match happening in good fashion if they both lose there upcoming matches.

Marquez will win 7 or 8 rounds in a close-ish but solid decision.

Floyd has to shake off two years of ring rust and has to strip down to a weight he hasn't been in years.

Marquez can come in fast and strong at 142. JMM is sharp, having KO'd his last two opponents.

The only "downside" I see to someone finally beating Mayweather is that people won't tune in anymore to see him lose. Well... not as many people hahaha.
Are you serious? If you thought Mayweather was a size disadvantage against JMM, what the hell do you think Cotto would be? LOL

JMM has no business in the ring with a guy as naturally big as Cotto.
