ok, but what does that mean for PPV buys?

This is true. I like both guys but this is a hardcore fan fight only. They better hope there is no significant sports or other entertainment competition that weekend.

I look at it from a statistical analysis perspective. McDonald's has made a vast fortune from their dollar menu alone. A lower price point doesn't bring in less money. It brings in more viewers. At 40 or 50 bucks a pop the rough 30 percent shaved off the price could being in 50 or 60 percent more viewers so the profit margin is higher. I could be wrong though but it makes sense to me.

Why won't boxing just admit it...."Hey, we're after your pockets just like everybody else!" It starts with $10 per month for "free" fights, then it goes to $20...then comes a metric fuck-ton of PPV bouts. A damn shame!

"Drop cable!" they said. Now, you're nearly $100 in the wrong direction once you start adding stuff like Showtime (stand alone app), ESPN+, DAZN, and so on. They get you coming and they get you going.

Just make it $50 like the Ruiz/Arreola card (which was good, by the way) and call it a night. Neither Bud or Shawn brings in THAT much money to be yanking our pockets like that.

He normally sells between 350K-400K buys.

I love this fight and think it will be good.

But the undercard is absolutely atrocious. As usual I refuse to spend this much on a PPV only for the main event.

Drop the price to $50 and I'm in. Otherwise do better when it comes to stacking the card.

Yep! I agree! The lower the price the greater the demand.

                  Couldve worked.

skew it a bit by dropping Teo-Kambosos in it as the co main.

then Teo can claim numbers and so would Bud

A fight between elites with two different styles and no quit, I'm down with that. I have no problem paying for it.

I'm going to buy it. I may need to throw something on the grill and cut back on sushi night...I really like this fight.
