No one hurts Canelo. If he can come out of 2 GGG fights and a kovalev fight without even being wobbled how does Benavidez even have a punchers chance

benevidez throws a high volume of punches. he can rip them upstairs and downstairs. great comboination puncher.

mentally a beast. a bully. looks to hurt you inside that ring.

canelo still has awful stamina, and a fighter like benevidez would outwork and punishe the smaller canelo.

Every fighter that has gone into the ring with Canelo has gone off their game after 4 rounds. Once those sharp counters come after their misses have them thinking and that is when they loose. Canelo did learn something from the Floyd fight is that if the opponent is thinking they are one step behind you. Canelo is patient and works the fighter into he has him in the position that he wants him in. I used to not like him but I have respected how his skills have evolved. I still say that he lost the first fight against GGG.

Plant was eliminated, BJS was eliminated now we move to the next guy to hype up as a credible opponent. There are no credible opponents in 168.

It doesn't matter if you are a fan or not, you can remain objective and recognize it, there is nothing more to do at 168, time to move up to LHW. That is where the true challenges lie. I still believe Kovalev could beat Alvarez if given the proper time to prepare, last time he had two training camps right before the Alvarez fight and if my memory serves me correct there was a rehydration clause in place as well? Things like these are why people aren't given Canelo his due credit for his talent.

When you take that many shots to the various points, you will no longer have a "long, strong jab". It will become a range finger, weak.

You will no longer be able to do a "high volume of punches" because you're tired.

Canelo doesn't have "awful stamina", given he's now taken out both Smith and Plant in or near Round 12.

The same things you're saying are what NSB kept saying about Plant two years ago. And we saw what happened.

I don't know what it's going to take for you to recognize the skill of this man.
That happened when it is written in the contract that the other guy cant hit back.
I think Benavidez will not wait and will start punching and he will be looking to hurt you, not go to the judges card.

I would like to see this fight.

You know what happens when you let your hands go vs Canelo? you get countered and ktfo.. That's exactly what's gonna happen when these 2 fight and it's gonna happen early on, probably first 6 rounds.. This dude never fought a damn soul either but I get it, he's the next one up to be the guy who will beat Canelo

                  Benevidez hasnt beaten anyone.

                  list his top 5 wins

number 1 is a 35 year old dirrell?

Benevidez is just the latest boogeyman they hyping. THe same people who were hyping plant as some master boxer who is going to "give canelo trouble", now that canelo slumped him, they are hyping up Benevidez.

If Benevidez is so damn good he would have surely been able to beat one of those bums for a title belt already.

Future scenario: If canelo goes to 175 for bivol or beterbiev, haters say he is ducking Benevidez. If canelo fights Benevidez then haters say he is ducking 175 and Benevidez was never proven.

Ggg was better in every department with a more educated pressure style

                    Has way more power

                    Proven stamina against world champions

Far better jab and more powerful

Better defence, head movement and ring generalship and a proven granite chin and heart (body shot absorption)

He couldn't stop canelo but David the guy that's beat nobody will stop him

The PBC hypejobs aren’t beating Canelo unless he’s injured or compromised in some way. Canelo is elite and should be fighting legit competition like Bivol or Beterbiev.
