If he's serious about getting a big fight, He should move up to 168 after the Quigley fight and get that automatic title shot against canelo. He either gets the fight, or the title gets dropped and he can fight for the vacant belt.
Can't Andrade force the fight with Canelo through the WBO?

“You want pey dey?”.
If anyone doesn’t deserve a Canelo fight it’s Andrade, never beat a champion, only won vacant titles, consistently fights C level guys. Talented fighter but has no ambition and is just looking to cash out.Comment

Yes, Andrade could move up to 168 and jump to the front of the line to become Canelo's WBO mando.
Since Andrade is the WBO champion at 160.
The rotation system determines which mandatory is due next, though.Comment

Hmmm, now that I think about it, Andrade should do that, best way for Canelo to go back to DAZN and not deal with those **** and snakes, Hymen and Espinoza. Plus it would be a relatively easy fight for Canelo.Comment

Yeah, he can. But would it actually work out that way? Canelo might not want to do the mandatories now he's unified. A lot of undisputed champs don't hold the belts that long. Andrade might just end up with a vacant title in a dead division.
If his contract is up soon he should go to PBC for Charlo. If not he's in a tricky spot. He could hold out for Golovkin next year but there's no guarantee he gets that. Golovkin has limited options at 160, whereas Canelo is a free agent with options from 160-175. So imo he should target GGG but it does look like he might not get a big fight no matter what he does which is a real shame. I don't consider him elite but would like to see for sure because he has a lot of ability.Comment

That would require Andrade to fight someone good, which he will never, ever do.
Andrade:
30 fights
0 world champions on his record
fighting another nobody next
barely beat the likes of Martirosyan, Culcay, Sulecki, and Williams
He wouldn't last 5 rounds with Canelo anyway.Comment
