Canelo out until May. Will his potential rivals take a risk in the meantime?

Will Jermall Charlo fight someone better than Juan Macias Montiel?

How about Bivol, will he fight Zurdo at least? Or is he going to give the fans that thrilling John Ryder showdown instead?

Can Demetrius Andrade get in the ring with someone better than Jason Quigley?

The only one I see in an interesting fight is Beterbiev against Marcus Browne.

In a perfect world Plant, Benavidez, charlo, bjs and GGG would all duke it out for the #1 spot.

But not in this world they’ll all keep facing journeyman waiting for Canelos next move.

I've been saying that Beterbiev and Bivol should fight each other and unify.

Then after that, unified 175 lb champ vs unified 168 lb champ becomes a juicier fight to sell to the masses.

That's a year long wait for Jermall.

No they will just keep fighting no risk opponents like Quigley to preserve their 0s and hope to get lucky and win the Canelo sweepstakes by doing nothing.

There have only been 6 unified champions in the four-belt era.

If it was so easy more would be doing it.
