Ennis isn't calling for Benn. It's his fans that keep mentioning Benn. They seem infatuated with Benn. Benn is living rent free inside their limited minds. Ennis is doing his thing. That's all they should be worried about. Yet Benn consumes them lol. It's pathetic.

Yeah it's crazy the same few people seem to rock up in every Benn article calling him out for not fighting Ennis who's clearly further along than Benn

A 58-3 amateur & 28-0 pro should be hunting down the top names in the division. Not looking down at a 22 fight amateur, 19-0 prospect who hasn't competed at the same level. Their obsession with him is weird.
Algieri is a fine opponent for Benn's twentieth fight. If anybody needs to step up it's Ennis. He's well beyond the Delorme's of the world

I didn't even know Chris Algieri was still fighting. No idea how washed up he is but how much longer is Benn looking to feast on old, washed up fighters who can't crack an eggshell?
I am so damn bored of it already.

I don't see anyone calling for Benn to fight Ennis would frankly end his life but what is up with him fighting an Avenesyan or Marku or someone challenging?

Just continually putting him in with has-beens and never-was-beens that are among some of the weakest punchers the sport has to offer and its cause he is rubbish and can't take a punch. Just put him in with a load of old timers who have no chance of checking that fragile chin and rob them on the scorecards.
Only reason Algieri is being brought in no power to force a stoppage and even if he does outbox him he's not getting a decision.
They won't put him in with anyone that can potentially take it out of the judges hands with their pre filled scorecards.

Its tiresome and its this matchmaking that has damaged boxing so much over the years more than anything else.

Huge pacquiao fan here and algeiri has only lost to extremely talented boxers superstars because of the skills they possess...this is actually an amazing fight for Benn to take at this stage of his career

Conor should have fought David Avenysyan after Josh Kelly took that loss. Since then he's continued to cherry pick bottom feeders while it's quite obvious he needs to step up. Even Blair Cobbs would be a step up

Benn cherrypicks fighters who have no power and smaller fighterd who came from lower weights.Formella, granados and now algieri. He fights toe to toe and he knows these guys don't have the power to hurt him. The moment he fights someone like boots or virgil ortiz, he will get knocked out cold.

Benn is developing, you can't jump step. He didn't have much amateur career by the way. He is learning on the job so let him learn besides he has fought some good fighters already and Chris Algieri is another good fight for him.

Chris Algieri is a solid smart fighter who pick his shot well. Chris is no bum. Eddie Hearn is doing a great job developing Conor the right way. This is a big step up fight for Conor. Let's see how he perform here.

Besides Formella, Granados and Algieri are tough fighters with experience that have fought top welterweights before. Formella faced Shawn Porter before Conor fought him. Granados has faced many tough top welterweights before Conor faced him and Algieri has faced Pacman, Amir Khan and Errol Spence as welterweight and he is 5ft 10 so what is the problem with Conor facing him?

So pls there is still time to fight top welterweights so let him develop now. Besides fighters like boots who has fought 28 fights with lots of nobodies in there had to fight those bums to learn to get to where he is today. Ortiz has a wonderful amateur career and has fought some tune ups and "learning on the job fights" as well to get to where he is today. So allow Conor Benn to learn on the job as well so that when he meet with those mentioned fighters it's gonna be an even and great match up by then.
