Yep Algieri really fought, scratched and clawed his way to a payday of that saturday night versus Ruslan!
I dont necessarily disagree but there is a matter of 7 years between the two fights. Algieri was supposed to lose to Provodnikov, paving the way for Pacquiao to fight Ruslan. That didn't happen and instead we got the farce of the Algieri 6 KD defeat.
It's not a bad matchup for Benn as he still needs to develop before he's ready for the top prospects and established guys. Algieri is tricky and athletic even at 37, he can box but doesn't have the pop to be too much of a threat. Different type of fighter than either Vargas or Granados. I expect Benn to impose his youth and strength and win by UD or late stoppage.Comment

It kills me how these pundits try to build up a fight versus a former has been champion and try to make you believe this is a step up and a competitive fight in the right direction. Unreal BUllsh_tttComment

Ennis isn't calling for Benn. It's his fans that keep mentioning Benn. They seem infatuated with Benn. Benn is living rent free inside their limited minds. Ennis is doing his thing. That's all they should be worried about. Yet Benn consumes them lol. It's pathetic. Is Ennis brave enough to fight outside the States?
Seriously Ennis is a good fighter but his fans seem to be over protective pricks?
He should be after a Crawford or Spence not a Benn if he's screaming for a Benn fight as fans here seem to be calling for.he's obviously not worth the hype.

Jesus you really are possibly the worst poster on this site.I imagine you to look like one of tha Island boy twins ,******ed and scrawny running around with a swag like he hard.
Huge pacquiao fan here and algeiri has only lost to extremely talented boxers superstars because of the skills they possess...this is actually an amazing fight for Benn to take at this stage of his careerComment
