Clearly Benn is still learning. I don't know what about that is so hard for you guys to understand. In time maybe he gets in with those names. But for now let the guy develop.

I guess Algieri is the best he will fight since he seems to be scared of Ennis

Benn cherrypicks fighters who have no power and smaller fighterd who came from lower weights.Formella, granados and now algieri. He fights toe to toe and he knows these guys don't have the power to hurt him. The moment he fights someone like boots or virgil ortiz, he will get knocked out cold.

Benn can’t box for toffee. Algieri is a talented boxer who is taller and longer. He should win this.

Well, he's not going to be successful drawing Chris into war. He's learned not to do that thanks to Spence, hasn't done it since.

That's why I think it's a very good test - because of every fighter thinkable, Algieri is the one guy who can take away Benn's main weapon, if the right Algieri shows up, and he looked fairly decent in his comeback fight.

Is Ennis brave enough to fight outside the States?

Seriously Ennis is a good fighter but his fans seem to be over protective pricks?
He should be after a Crawford or Spence not a Benn if he's screaming for a Benn fight as fans here seem to be calling for.he's obviously not worth the hype.

I dont necessarily disagree but there is a matter of 7 years between the two fights. Algieri was supposed to lose to Provodnikov, paving the way for Pacquiao to fight Ruslan. That didn't happen and instead we got the farce of the Algieri 6 KD defeat.

It's not a bad matchup for Benn as he still needs to develop before he's ready for the top prospects and established guys. Algieri is tricky and athletic even at 37, he can box but doesn't have the pop to be too much of a threat. Different type of fighter than either Vargas or Granados. I expect Benn to impose his youth and strength and win by UD or late stoppage.

Benn is developing, you can't jump step. He didn't have much amateur career by the way. He is learning on the job so let him learn besides he has fought some good fighters already and Chris Algieri is another good fight for him.

Chris Algieri is a solid smart fighter who pick his shot well. Chris is no bum. Eddie Hearn is doing a great job developing Conor the right way. This is a big step up fight for Conor. Let's see how he perform here.

This is a good scrap. Algieri still has something in the tank and if Benn can overcome Algieri's ring IQ, it will add another dimension to his abilities. They (his team) are bringing Benn along nicely.
