Am I the only one who thinks Loma boxes circles around Tank?

    Many people think so actually.

But I don’t see it and I’m not one of those people.

Lomachenko has footwork but so does Gervonta.
Lomachenko is a head hunter. Gervonta mixes it up.
Lomachenko throws predominantly jabs and straight, all at the head.
Gervonta throws hooks, uppercuts, straights, and has an excellent jab.

How in the world does Lomachenko beat him? He doesn’t have the power to stop him. I suppose Lomachenko could outbox him but then again, Gervonta’s ring IQ is just as high as Loma’s.

the difference? Gervonta isn’t limited by the theory of too much amateur experience makes a lesser professional.

He doesn’t head hunt, he doesn’t throw predominantly straights and jabs, he’s just as fast, has just as good of footwork (in a different way); excellent economy of motion BUT has WW knockout power. Something Loma doesn’t have.

I think Gervonta knocks Lomachenko smooth tf out. He’s going to get caught coming in like Linares caught him, But Gervonta won’t let him live after. He’s going to go for the kill after battering Loma’s body.

Loma at his best will box rings around Tank. Which is why unless Loma is shot TMT are never making that fight.

They do not make matches where their top guy can lose. Floyd's career is their blueprint.

I think that was likely 4 years ago but is becoming less likely as Loma ages and Tank gets better. Right now, the fight is 50/50, in my eyes anyway.

You have to attack Loma to beat him

Corrales, Castillo 2x, Augustus, Corley, Gatti, Zab, Oscar Dlh, Mosley, Canelo, Pacquiao, Maidana 2x.

All fights floyd “could’ve” lost. But didn’t.

Tank “could’ve” lost to a bigger guy in Barrios. But didnt. Don’t see Rigondeaux move to 140, but he’s the same size as Davis. His own words, Rigo walks around 148. Yet he won’t go to 140. But somehow that’s not a risk for Davis?

Gervonta own words, he walks ~143 but this was some 3 years ago he said this. But the frames and weights are still there. Both 5 foot 5 and both walk around middleweight. Yet, Davis isn’t taking risks?

Davis is doing his part. He is doing work. Give it time and we’ll see what comes but until then, we can’t act like Davis is cherry picking when he isn’t, thus far.

I don't think Tank has quite the same advantages as Lopez (size and reach - or effective reach) - I think Loma should be a pretty heavy favorite in that one, but you never know. I think there is a decent possibility that Loma puts Tank in the matrix. Styles make fights and all that

Could've but didn't. Because on his best night he wins. The difference is those other fighters could have their best night and they would lose because FMJ would be better.

Point is you control what you do, and unless Tank has a total off-night he aint losing to anyone they've put him in with so far. Neither was Floyd.

Tank will lay him smooth out and fans will make excuses he waited for Loma to get old.

He should do circles around Lopez first as he did for 5 rounds ... 2 more of these and the Belts are back ...
