Agreed. Plant is much faster on his feet and a has quicker hands. He also doesn’t stand still and doesn’t allow his opponents to get their shots off by remaining stationary. Plant is actually a very skilled boxer. My only question is, does he have the heart, power, stamina/ endurance and chin to beat Canelo…..Maybe, maybe not. I think he’s going to give Canelo some problems at least. I suspect Plant has a decent chin, some heart/ will, and respectable power (though I’m not absolutely certain he’ll be able to cleanly connect on Canelo with enough regularity to slow him down, although Plant is very quick handed…,so , who knows). My biggest doubt about Plant is his stamina. This is going to be a VERY interesting fight !

Good breakdown and how I see it. Even Canelo and Eddie feel Plant will be a problem early on and could taper off in the later rounds. Funny thing is Canelo himself has stamina issues but he’s fixed that with fighting at a more measured pace. Caleb will not only have to make Canelo uncomfortable but he’ll also have to up his pace in the later rounds. It’ll really come down to the later rounds and if Plant doesn’t fall apart in the championship rounds.

Plant is a decent fighter let's not pretend he isn't. Although the usual PBC brigade raise him high based on the eye test over his lack of resume yet do the exact opposite when it comes to non PBC fighter Terrence Crawford and even though he is a 3 weight world champion and an undisputed champion he is constantly crapped on for his lack of resume and we are told the eye test means nothing.
