interesting you rate plant highly, what are his top 5 wins in your book?

Remember the days when it would have been an embarrassment to make this a PPV event? Well, those bad old days are here again.
Plant will wilt swiftly. When Saul left DAZN he opened the door for the weakest fights at a higher rate. That's show biz.

He can hydrate on fight night to 190 and still be agile, while canelo is just to short. He will surprise the world with the strategy his bringing fight night. Canelo is wayyyyyy to overrated. Plant by KO in 8 rnds. Mark my words ... nitramzaid@hotmail.com
If you're that sure then put a bet on a Plant KO at 11-1 odds and show us the betting slip afterwards!

he's not even close to being as athletic as Sugar Ray and doesn't hit as hard. Try again! (I'll allow that Canelo is not even close to being Hagler)

Huh? Does he only have his own fight as a reference or do you allow him to have an opinion about other fights?

If he lists them, what will you then say? He’s got less than 20 fights…..

Plant is going to have a fight similar to Khan. He'll display his speed and trouble for Canelo early on, then get caught with a big shot that makes him go night night.

BJS would be favored in a fight against Plant and he got his face caved in.
If you take Uzcategui off of Plants record his average opponents world ranking is 156.
Sorry Canelo haters, Plant isn’t the guy to knock off the cash cow.

Plant's biggest downfall is experience against solid opposition. He has amatuerish tendencies which is what causes him to gas out. He over compensates on his movements and it makes him a little predictable.
Interesting comment. Many technical fighters... guys that depend on angles, using footwork, etc start out being wildly inefficient. As time progresses they tighten movement up... you see this big time in martial arts training BTW. For every Ted Lewis, Sweet Pea Whitaker, there are guys like Toney who got progressively more refined in his movements...

Plant imo is on a schedule and has to have gotten at least some of his movement dynamics down to a point where he can use them at closer distances. The problem is one that Tony Bellew faced against Usyk... How long can you fight off the back foot effiently? Bellew did a superb job but could not match up when Usyk stepped on the gas.

I don’t think Plant will see or hear the final bell - - unless he runs all night. That’s very possible. I think Plant will definitely be seeing stars on his way down to the canvas. The first big body shot by Canelo - let’s see how Plant reacts to that. If he covers up all the time, Alvarez will bust out his bicep like he did to Callum Smith.
