It will do better than Wilder/Fury III and that fight did 13M. Even if it does not get to the 20M mark, it will be a very healthy gate nonetheless.

      [QUOTE=Oldskoolg;n31160719]

It’s only a contradiction if I were a robot. Im not, I’m a very proud American who wasn’t born an American, chose to be one, served and fought for it. I don’t care to see it disrespected. I could regale you with all the reasons I find Hearn a deplorable individual but you really know all that don’t you especially if you have kept up with my posts which it appears you have. And that answers the question doesn’t it….you responded because you perceive me as having a (real) dislike of young Edward and expect me to have the same for two guys who oddly enough have not insulted and feuded with British fighters, attempted to drive British companies out of business, and on and on. Haymon and Espinosa are Americans, and very successful Americans from historically *************** groups. As a white ***ish man of British birth, I find their stories particular American….it makes me proud to see them doing well. G-d bless America. [/QUOTE

That’s fair, I was mistaken, there.

As are you, if you think my response carries any concern for a multimillionaire purveyor. I responded, precisely because the interests of people like Hearn clash with mine.

I have no interest in defending/celebrating him or any other promoter/middleman in boxing, and in this I’m justified, since he has no truck with marketing substandard products in the shape of horrifically poor cards to the fans as PPV worthy.

Likewise with Haymon and Espinoza. Yeah, I too am pleased that you stand a better chance of a decent life as an ethnic minority in the U.S (assuming you don’t get shot or deported) than you do in the rigid class system over here.

But there’s nothing to celebrate about the way their business impacts on the fan. When I first heard how much PPV cards were over there, my eyes watered. What’s more, these guys also market trash.

You know as well as anyone, the constant intrigues that the promoters and orgs engage in at the top of boxing have obstructed the best fights. Alongside the high rates for poor product, I say these guys are the enemies of the average consumer.

Yeah, man, it is a third of the price, but in the words of Chisora, we’re still getting ‘****ed with no vaseline’ for ****e.

Also, forgive me for going in hard, but not only do I refuse to pay for inferior products, these guys really reveal themselves as against the interests of the common fans when they take their shows to human rights death zones like Saudi Arabia.

Then I DOUBLY refuse to pay, haha

Yeah, exactly. Free stream, and these MFs can lose cash until they start respecting fan’s interests

And, the UK scene with its racist government policies implemented by ethic minority politicians is a perfect example of this…. But being ‘melanated’ does NOT mean I should have ANY solidarity with a person, particularly if they are exploiters or oppressors of people in my class, race or both.

Haymon and Espinoza aren’t anywhere near as bad as that, but theirs, and the commercial interests of all promoters and corporatists, are still in direct conflict with fan interests.

            Hence, they are my enemies
And, no amount of Melanin will change that, because I’m not infested with brain worms and, Therefore, not distracted with the superficial like a giant ****ing magpie.

I’m black, mate, so you’ve sussed me about as well as you’ve sussed the difference in class between us and boxing capitalists

I don't believe this article. Canelo is very eager to work with Al Haymon, the PBC, and Showtime again and why wouldn't he; For a $40M guarantee? He won't make so much as a fracture of that type of money elsewhere; Let alone on DAZN with Matchroom.

He would be lucky to even hit the eight figure mark over there by fighting a Bivol or Beterbiev. Boxing fans aren't interested in making history. We are interested in making good fights.

So name me what other good opponents out there for Canelo to fight other than an undefeated Jermall Charlo, David Benavidez or perhaps even an Erroll Spence, Jr. At a catchweight; None?

So therefore, If he refuses to fight either of therm; Then it is a clear sign that he is ducking the stiffer challenges and competition in the sport.

It's because it's none other than Thuglife Nelo. It's one of his 300 alternate egos. He's a virulent anti-Black racist and an Al Haymon hater.

I don't even understand this sensationalized article.

Alvarez was only after Plant's title. End of story.
If Jermall Charlo finally have the courage to fight the big fight,
then he had to cross the street and fight on Canelo's home base
which is DAZN. Beggars can't be choosers.
