Yes, I'm a Canelo fan but I'm not in here claiming Dirrell is right to have hate for Caleb Plant.

There are a few in here but just look at the poster I’m interacting with on this same page “el maldito rey”. He posted that he saw a video when Plant was an a hole/ standoffish to a Mexican reporter, so he agrees with dirrell. Then he fails to mention that this person tried to interview him right after the altercation with Canelo, as if Plant would be in a great mood at that moment, and then doubles down by saying plant was acting that way because he’s racist. These are the kinds of Canelo fans I’m referencing.

Plant is supposed to roll over and lose in 3 rounds to Canelo and be as quiet as a mouse when asked about his personal beliefs. Someone who hasn't lost in the pros, and had a solid amateur career. Someone who has worked their whole life to be in this position and constantly be doubted by the entire boxing world LOL. Sounds like fans projecting their own experiences on to Plant. I have watched several Plant interviews and I don't believe that he ls outrageous or over the top all that much. I also have to ask what the hell is wrong with a fighter having confidence in himself? What is he supposed to say that he sucks and he is only fighting Canelo for a career payday? Which I personally do not believe. I also don't understand all of the negativity concerning Plants resume. After all, I do remember that he was still a kid, who was Canelo fighting in his 22nd fight? He didn't fight his first world title fight until his 37th fight when he fought Matthew Hatton for a vacant belt. I will admit that I am getting old and my clutch is beginning to slip a bit. With that said I don't recall Ricky's little brother having anything resembling a great career at the world level.

It's easy to see what other fighters don't like in Caleb. Seems like a arrogance dude who feels privileged because of his foooked up past, which all or most fighters have as well lol. But I think there's also some hate as well because some feel like Caleb doesn't deserve the accolades and feel they should be in his position as well.
