Wilder did it better against Fury than Joshua against Usyk

Wilder was out of his feet but he still nearly took Fury out in fourth round.

Joshua didn`t even try to win. he was too scared.

Usyk is much more difficult to get a win on . The fight was not one sided , unlike Wilder vs Fury where it’s only close if Fury stays down or Wilder scores several knock downs half of the fight because a knockout is the only way Wilder can win against top guys . Fury was not trouble either when he went down ,he also seemed to go down one time to avoid a follow up .

Its not a like for like situation. Wilder knocked Fury down but he also got knocked down himself and KTFO. Joshua barely hurt Usyk but he outlanded him in I think 5 rounds, didnt get stopped and the punch stats were much, much closer.

Well, Joshua should have known he needed a KO to win. he didn`t even try in last rounds. If Joshua`s corner thought like they were winning the fight, than I guess they were really ******.

All this he nearly took Fury out in the fourth its academic, he didnt on got battered till he himself was taken out in the 11th. Who knows if he will ever be the same. Joshua hurt Usyk but he didn't commit, again thats irrelevant as he was schooled rounds 9-12 but has a rematch pending where he can right a wrong or very well lose again. Personally it was a tame effort by Joshua but if AJ took the battering Wilder did i think he would retire. Thankfully he has some skills to prevent a beatdown like that happening to him but his mindset is admittedly a bit frail for my liking

Rematch clauses aren't always a bad thing, but I do think they make AJ worse. Less likely to go for broke when you know you're getting another chance anyway.
