Remember Canelo-Kovalev ? DAZN had to wait until UFC finished. This fight will be the same.

UFC 268 is stacked and will absolutely CRUSH Canelo vs Plant in Sales it won't even be close. Canelo vs Plant I don't think Cracks 500K Buys

Look I love Boxing BUT UFC consistently gives fans more **** for their Buck$. Usman vs Covington 2 is just far more intriguing and has the attention of the Casual Sport Fans and I think UFC just does a overall better job of leaving their fans and Casual Fans wanting MORE. Boxing is forced to take a Back Seat to UFC because Boxing as a whole did absolute **** job of Keeping fans interested

Canelo vs Plant will double the ufc gate. That is just a fact. Boxing mega gates are far bigger than mma mega gates. People forget that Canelo literally has a whole country (Mexico population 130 million) that stops when he fights. PPV Buys are a bit tricky the ufc always adds in international buys when Boxing never does.

The crazy thing is the B side Caleb Plant will earn more than both of the main event fighters in the ufc main event. That is one thing I don't understand is people say how big ufc is when the fighters are getting paid absolute $ hit.

I don't care about all of that bs. All I care about is seeing quality fights and Boxing has not supplied us with that in all of 2021.

Fury vs Wilder 3 was the best fight of this year in both sports imo.

Boxing November schedule is fantastic: Canelo vs Plant, Munguia vs Rosado, Crawford vs Porter, Teofimo vs Kambosos and Fulton vs Figueroa

you're gonna compare ONE BIG FIGHT in boxing to every month the UFC having the champion face a #1 or 2 contender or the #3 and #4 fighting each other to move up in the rankings? This happens EVERY PPV. Every card is stacked. You don't get the GGG vs Murat or Canelo vs Yildrim fights. Hell no. the UFC would never do a 4 month buildup and have Adesanya fight some guy they pulled off the street headlining a ppv card. That's that bs. If Boxing followed UFC's standards, we'd get a ppv with Crawford vs Spence as the undercard would be Ennis vs Ortiz and Benn vs Thurman. But we know that **** will never happen!!!!

I am both huge boxing fan and MMA fan I want to buy both but Canelo vs Plant PPV looks very weak compared to UFC 268. UFC 268 is a stacked card I want to support the sport of boxing but aside from main card it doesn’t look that great on paper your thoughts?

The last time he went head to head with the UfC he had to wait until they finished. I remember Kovalev was taking a nap. Canelo bows down to the UFC.

I think Canelo/Plant may actually do better. Canelo is a big star and this is his return to traditional PPV, against an American fighter. Its probably his most high profile fight since GGG. I think this does between 700-900k while 268 does in the 600-700k range. I will be watching the UFC live though because **** that Canelo/Plant undercard.
