I never liked what I've seen from that kid all that much but I'm curious to see what real evidence she has against him. Just claiming someone did something to you isn't enough to convict someone for a crime and to ruin his life. So let's reserve our judgment until all the facts are out. I think him not fighting soon isn't bad from the point of view of him bring distracted and the fight losing even more legitimacy.

But I always separate business from personal life and if the court of law still didn't convict him, the a corporation shouldn't treat him differently on a professional level.

Innocent until proven Guilty. Is that not how this is supposed to happen? Pulling him before a shadow of a doubt is wrong. But yet it was ok for a famed fighter to fight in a PPV before serving a jail sentence, for which he was already convicted. That is the pot calling the kettle black if ever!!!!

I hate this culture where we just convict people without any evidence whatsoever through the media and now social media.

Yeah, that would be a problem but the guy’s not convicted, is he? No-one here’s saying he’s guilty and I don’t know what other parts of social media are saying.

I don’t know what’s happened, and the fact that i see just the one accuser (can anyone tell me otherwise) means one is less certain than if he had multiple accusers.

But but what do know is that a promoter wants the heat off them. Maybe now Davis takes an even easier fight, maybe it’s a cynical move, who knows?

This thing with Mayweather frustrates the hell out of me.

I’ve often given boxers the benefit of the doubt with stuff like this, because I doubt they’re actually that fearful of other fighters.

I think a lot of them probably fall for the spiel about marketing, career guidance and other guff, they get from their managers. They’re probably too ****** to refute these arguments, too.

But between the lack of meaningful competition and historically blowing up in weight between fights, I see a guy in Tank who lacks drive and who’s probably comfortable to coast along with whatever career path his team have set before him.

Hope he proves me wrong.
