You can't compare Crawford, who fought a 25 year old, 22-1 Dulorme at 140, to Ennis, who fought a 31 year old, 25-5-1 Dulorme at 147. That's incredibly disingenuous.

They do it all the time in here, its all on face value to them, reading form is not their best asset.

Crawford is 34 years old and only now fighting a live opponent. The jury is still out on him too

Who did Crawford really beat? Inactive and blown up Gamboa and Postol? His overall resume isn't that good. His welterweight resume is trash.

The Crawford fangimps act like weight drained quitter Brook was a phenomenal win. Washed up glass jaw Amir Khan needed low blowed and that was somehow a great win. Gun shot victim Jose Bumavidez with a peg leg was a great win somehow. Eurobum Mean Machine went from a Eurobum that nobody knew of to somehow a top welterweight since he dropped Crawford.

That’s not knocking Bud though, he’s one of my favourite fighters and I pick him to beat anyone at 147, but we need to see him fight the top guys. His best win is probably still Postol.

People are getting carried away saying Ennis beats Crawford though. There’s levels and levels between who Boots is fighting right now and fighting Crawford.
That Postol win was extremely impressive. Bookending that fight, he has KOed his last 11 opponents. Still not sure about Taylor yet. Nice win away from home vs Ramirez but I don't know if he is really top level yet.

He has dominated virtually everyone he faced - almost all of them were good or really good fighters.

We seem to evaluate wins differently. Not being snarky but I know you're a Floyd fan, but I don't value wins over washed up/fat/'names' as better wins than a solid pro in his relative prime at a good weight.

There were plenty of opportunities for Crawford to show holes, he has shown very few so far in his career. It's impressive.

This really demonstrates his potential. Sure, the eye test is only part of evaluating the full quality of a boxer - their level of competition and number of times they've really won a tough fight, are others for me, for example - but it is still a part of the game. Quite the compliment to Ennis. I hope he can earn greatness in the sport, and do so selfishly because what's better than watching great boxers?

Crawford has beaten everyone hes fought, but at 34 yrs old he is finally facing someone who has a chance to beat him,it reminds me of ggg(same age both stepped up)

carefully crafted run against a whos who of bin men like weightdrained Brook & washed Khan who he didn't even ko cleanly when everyone else has, Crawford couldn't in his prime do what Garcia did to a prime Khan.(nor what Prescott did 1st to Khan)

All one has to do is look at the odds for past Crawford opponents to see their true level.

Taylor is very good, he handed Postol his second loss when Taylor only had about 13 fights, quite impressive really.
