Molina was awful in this fight I guess he was just there for a paycheck. Babic exposes himself a lot when he attacks. He's not moving like tyson or other punchers, he just thinks he has to hit, he does not protect himself or try to avoid counter blows.

    Hrgovic would kill this guy.

I don’t see it happening, but if it did, he and his team might start forgetting where they are and who he is to start title talk

Happens every time a ‘club fighter’ gets a half decent win. See aftermath of Allen vs Browne, Chisora vs Takam.
That's the point where he'll realise that instead of making good money, he could make life changing money. And you never know, you can get lucky and land the punch that changes your life.

I agree, it will happen. Good luck to him. He'll make good money and get a hiding.

That's one of the problems with boxing. You don't really have to earn the right to stand in the ring with the top guys. You just need to have a record that someone can market. The biggest names aren't going to risk their record on people who have genuinely earned it.

In Babics case hes crazy in and out of the ring. I think the UK market is more willing to watch someone based on their entertainment value or personality even if they arent the elite. Thats how Del Boy has been around so long and how even Dave Allen did alright for himself for a few years.
Chisora has a hell of a chin. Not sure about Babic.

Babic must fight some decent punchers to find out if he can be elite gatekeeper or low level gatekeeper.

Babic can easily sell a show by himself at this point and Fisher is soon to get those type of attraction events by himself by the way they fight and are doing good as prospects, if Molina had won he’d be right back in the mix talking about big fights . Hrgovic is highly touted as well he’s fought both guys and they would have given him a second lifeline if he won .

Id say a big name is either an already established draw or one that would cause a lot of talk if they lost .

You’re dead right about all of that. And one thing’s for sure, I won’t begrudge any man or woman that stumbles their way to the big time by any means. Especially a stone cold comedian like THE SAVAGE.

MATE, you’ve hit the nail right on the head. There’s a massive market over here for plucky underdog types.

If you ever watch **** like Strictly Come Dancing or other bollocks, which tbf I don’t, you always hear about geriatric, fat slob ‘celebrities’ with no obvious talent going far because (1) they’re a good laugh, (2) they know they’re crap and (3) the public try to F things up and add some anarchy.

Seems really ingrained into the national psyche. As does getting trashed… (although that’s more to do with historically unsafe drinking water)

He is going to have some real trouble with a counterpuncher with head movement. He takes these big looping shots and his head is ripe for a heavy hook when he misses. Molina’s lack of head movement provided him with no ability to counter.
