Power is not Plant's forte. If he thinks he can out box Nelo, well, we shall see.

Winky wasn't a harder puncher than Trinidad or Mosley, but he physically manhandled both of them because he was the naturally bigger, stronger man. Not saying the fight outcome will be similar to that, but just something to consider.

Lol they don't fight similar but I'm trying to say they're both deceptively strong. They both have a measly 50% KO rate, not known as punchers at all. But Winky was big at 154/160 and Plant is big at 168. Not easy guys to push around.

Winky proved himself over and over again. Winky did it with ring intelligence.
While we won't know FOR SURE how this, or any fight, will end, we can assume Nelo has dealt with better opposition.

Once we acknowledge that, we can also assume Plant doesn't really have a tool in his box that Nelo doesn't have as well (since Nelo has already defeated superior opponents than Plant has). In fact, Nelo's tools are futuristic in comparison.

I know. Upsets happen. This would rank among the bigger upsets should Plant win.

This. Plant used punching power and strength interchangeably. Winky was stronger than mosley and trinidad but didnt hit as hard. Fury is stronger than wilder but doesnt hit as hard. ect ect

plant is a ****** and atleast we wont have to read ****** articles about him anymore after canelo breaks his face

As Andrade stated, Canelo barked up the right tree.

That undisputed fight at 160 Andrade would have been a barn burner if Canelo hadn't ducked.

Plant will fold like a well-lubricated lawn chair.

Not many fighters fight like caleb plant .

caleb is skilled , tough and he is determined. I will say this , caleb plant has tremendous intangibles.

caleb has to go out and fight his game plan and stick with it . The great thing about boxing is you can win 1 round at a time

3 min ,you have to outbox/ hit and dont get hit for 3 min at a time

Canelo's counter-punching ability is on a different level and I'm pretty sure that he won't only be trying to walk plant down, but he's gonna use his feints and will draw punches from plant to counter them. Also if Plant fights at one rhythm the whole time which he tends to do, Canelo will time him eventually. This combined with a big power advantage and ability to land bodysuits from almost any position and Plant should be breaking down physically later in the fight. I hope Plant proves me wrong though! I'll be rooting for him, he has a great story and seems to have come up the hard B-side way.
