Heck you don't even have to look that far back ...Carl Froch always fought top guys since his fight with Pascal
froch was cut from old cloth even if he is a twat
You mean the same Ali and Robinson that had a lot of their fights results influenced by the mafia? The same duo that travelled to Europe to fight bums of the month for money? The same duo that fought pass their primes for money? And the same Ali that went to fight in Zaire because Mobutu gave them ridiculous money?

If both were active today, they’d do the same thing. Especially with how trash/fickle today’s fans are.

Froch fought for money - Hearn was sucking Skysports for ridiculous money to pay him. You think all those fights Hearn brought to the U.K. despite Froch not being a draw were free? The guy wasn’t a draw yet he was getting big names to come fight him in Nottingham, lol.

Why didn’t Froch give Dirrell a rematch after the robbery that happened in the first fight? Andre Ward rematch? The division wasn’t even all that.

while it is admirable from a fan's POV for boxers to fight for glory, I don't blame boxers that looks at the financial side first and foremost. Look at past greats, it's obvious they suffer some form of mental impairment. Whereas promoters like Arum are still going at 90.

I didn't say they didn't fight for money but all three mentioned sure as hell were confident in their ability and weren't scared to lose their 0 as they trulely believed they belonged unlike the mentally weak fighters we have today..

Oh and I'm pretty sure dirrel and froch were in a tournament and dirrels next fight gave him neurological problems which hindered him fighting at top level ever again

That was a blatant robbery but I don't think froch would have ducked a rematch with ward or dirrel he was a true believer in himself

AJ and Dillian Whyte have taken more tough fights than Froch ever took in his career (especially AJ with 12 championship fights in 26 fights). Where’s the love for them? Get Froch out of here - he was babied by Hearn and spoonfed champs in his backyard in Nottingham.

              Fkc best fighting best.
You get old fast just by hoping for them. Forget it.

Cherrypicks gone wrong are more fun to watch.
Mikey Garcia losing to a guy nobody has heard of,
Charlo twins get wobbled by nobodies,
Haney struggling against a semi-retired senior, oh man...
What more could you ask for?

Any chance Ennis gets humbled tomorrow?

                  GTFOH.

Froch had like 10+ world title fights.

Dillian Whyte has NEVER even fought for a European title.

                  You’re so delusional.

Nowadays boxers don't fight each other because of "How much PPV he makes" or "nobody knows who he is" and ****** **** like that. Boxers are content with making millions to beat up C level fighters instead of taking risks and leaving a lasting legacy in the sport.
It’s greed tbh. A lot of it comes from promotional and network politics. Social media has made it 10x worse too.

One thing I will say though, money has always been the motivation for like 99.9999% of fighters in history.

You don't actually believe that whyte and Joshua have better resumes than froch ?

whyte ??? That's mind boggling that you'd compare whyte to froch...maybe if froch was polaxed when he fought Glen Johnson and retired instantly after
