Let’s call it what it’s - he avoided bad style matchups throughout his career and never took the fight if he knew the person has a chance of beating him.

I think Floyd made a thing of not fighting mandatories. Floyd had a massive ego and didn't like being dictated to. Floyd generally always fought best available competition so it was never an issue when he was fighting

The fight was supposed to be more difficult and allegedly Arum said "Cotto wasnt ready" which was why the fight didnt happen.
