Nobody ducks Kell Brook baring Amir Khan...... Do you honestly believe Brook stood a chance? I would Favour Amir Khan around that period to give Floyd a run for his money for the simple fact Floyd didnt have the power to smash Amir Khan's glass chin...... Nobody out boxes Khan. He gets knocked out for fun but name a fighter that has ever outboxed him?

Bud showed he was the undisputed best in a division - something Mayweather never did in his career.

Why didn’t Mayweather fight Cotto before he was ruined by Margarito? Paul Williams before the bike accident? Even Mosley before he was washed? I go on.
He wanted the Cotto fight. Paul Williams i agree with you there.

He always fought all of the champions in his weight class. That's all you need to know.

Stop it, he never wanted the Cotto fight the guy got damaged by Margarito. He didn’t even no parts of Tszyu. Sergio Martinez also tried everything to fight him including catch weight but he didn’t want no parts of him. I could go on…

Let’s call it what it’s - he avoided bad style matchups throughout his career and never took the fight if he knew the person has a chance of beating him.
I think Floyd made a thing of not fighting mandatories. Floyd had a massive ego and didn't like being dictated to. Floyd generally always fought best available competition so it was never an issue when he was fighting

Thats any fighter though. Just to asterisk the Cotto fight. Cotto was with Arum when Floyd fought Brussels at 140 (Brussels was trained by Cottos original trainer at the time). The fight was supposed to be more difficult and allegedly Arum said "Cotto wasnt ready" which was why the fight didnt happen.

                Why didnt Sergio fight GGG?

Why didnt GGG fight Canelo at 155-157? Instead waited another 12-18 months for the fight...

                Why didnt GGG fight Ward?

Why didnt Manny fight Floyd in 2009? Roach even said 1st negotiations was their fault

Why didnt anyone fight Paul Williams ?

Why did Mosley wait till he was so old to fight Mayweather and Manny ?
Mayweather said his 2005 fight with Cotto stablemate Henry Bruseles was a "tester." When the fight proved non-competitive, Mayweather-Cotto talk ended.

Running from your mandatories and picking those you can beat is cherry picking 101.

None of these boxers think they are the best ever and none is an ATG. Try harder.

When a person needs to know who a true cherry picker is, look no further than Pac's WW career
