I think that despite all the talk of AJs flaws, losses & weaknesses hes been quietly doing something commendable that is being very underrated. Hes been fighting all comers & the best available competition, yes hes hes 2 fights, but it's far more difficult to maintain a high level vs non stop top challengers who are avoided by others.
Meanwhile Bud has been doing the exact opposite for most his career, when he became undisputed it was because jww only had 1 or 2 other decent fighters,& top rank secured him an easy path to Undisputed vs the likes of Indongo. Since then hes gotten tons of credit for beating fighters who were as washed up or mediocre as they come, yet he gets tons of credit as if he was fighting all the top challengers like AJ was doing.(& AJ even offered Ortiz a fight he turned down)
