Wouldn't had made the slightest bit of difference but the idea he was still seeking ideas of how good Usyk is 5 minutes before he was actually going to fight tells me he has some doubts. If that Mitchell guy replied" he is a beast or he is crap" then what? Very strange. i have actually talked to AJ a few times he belongs to my casino in Mayfair London and he is a cool cat.
I was telling him about my son playing football but at the same time i was losing money so i was focused on wining my money back but he kept asking questions and at the time i was only interested in getting my money back so i wasn't really paying much attention. i saw him a few weeks after that he was with his mrs and because of our previous encounter i went up to him like we were buddies . He responded but gave me the look who the **** are you. Anyway i said that to say this he is a nice guy and even a random like me he was keen to know everything i had to say. He was asking so much questions he seemed a bit wet behind the ears. Its no wonder he has a lot of hangers on

Wow, didn't know that. They must have definitely played that part during the epilogue, maybe?

AJ seems like a cool guy and I may sound crazy when I say this, but it's okay to be wet behind the ears...only when you have genuine people around you to catch you slipping. It sounds funny but we don't know it all and I've seen guys with that attitude (cough: Wilder) who needs "yes" men around him and won't accept anything less...or so it appears.

If you have hanger-ons with no clue on how life works, then you're doomed. Again, I think AJ is a cool guy...he just seems to come off as a guy who wants to make everyone happy when he has what it takes to be great right now. If it weren't for him, those people wouldn't be around like that. I hope he gets it all in order before the rematch.

There's no other way for him to win except by way of KO. However, if he does that, then he runs the risk of getting KO himself because Usyk hurt, nearly dropped and stopped him in both rounds 3 and 12; Which is a sign of a shot fighter.

Oleksandr nearly stopped Joshua without even trying hard who weighs only 200 lbs and is not even regarded as a huge heavyweight puncher. So what does that say about the mental state and the decline of Anthony Joshua? He is damaged goods.

The difference was Chisora was not afraid to take a few to land his and AJ fought scared the entire time. Getting rocked in the early rounds and again in the late rounds. Also showing very poor stamina where he was winded more than Usyk despite barely throwing.
Nah, I’m not seeing that, mate. Chisora landed to the body, for sure, but Usyk was in 2nd gear and still won, no problems.

Man, I’m telling you, Usyk’s got a solution for AJ using his reach, (admittedly as someone his size should) he’s got a solution for AJ trying to bumrush him and he had a solution for AJ trying to gently stroke him to sleep last fight.

He’s got his number in a way no-one else at HW will have. Bets open now!

Brother man, when you catch how Usyk plays against the rest of the division, you’ll see that any version of Joshua could’ve turned up and he still wouldn’t win.

The clearout at HW continues, heed my word, ye mortals!

Usyk's people are in negotiations to bring Joe Cortez out of retirement, just in case.

You take him over Tyson Fury as well?

Yeah, I do, but I concede Fury's high ring IQ would give me more pause for doubt than if he was in with anyone else.

Joshua has avenues to win. So does Usyk.

People seem to have forgotten that this was a really good fight. Usyk was aggressive early and won rounds contrary to what most thought he'd do, then Joshua started going to the body and won some of the middle rounds. Then Usyk brought it home in the latter rounds. It was an exceptional performance by Usyk and a very deserved win.

If I know one thing about Joshua it's that he'll be prepared for the rematch. And Usyk is a model pro.

I favour Usyk in the rematch. All the talk is about what Joshua will do, but not the fact that Usyk is a master at adapting during fights.

I think they'll both improve for the rematch. I'll go Usyk a 70/30 favourite. Either way, the winner will have earned every bit of credit coming their way.

I've never met the guy, but years ago, I told my missus that, after watching several of his interviews, that he's naive at best, not particularly smart at worst.

I just wanted to put her off the guy, which worked when she subsequently watched one of his interviews where he appeared to mindlessly regurgitated Eddie Hearn talking points about upcoming fights,

Not that I mean to slate him, particularly when you have a decent experience of meeting him. I'm sure he's nice, but listening to him, he seems extremely credulous.
